I’m starting to wonder if we may have won one more game had we not traded Josh Dobbs. Not that it matters but he’s significantly better than Hodges...

He couldn’t even beat out Rudolph, what makes you think he would have done any better? He hasn’t even played for the Jags.

The guy had good wheels but was a 50% passer. Nah, don't see him making a difference in this lost year.

I thought Rudolph and duck were our saviors?? But seriously everyone was excited about our backup qbs this year and it did not work out. Dobbs is not the answer either. Its hard to say how he would have done

It's all anyone had. That was a little hope of maybe...then it all went up in the flames of reality.

Dobbs was the same guy when we traded him as he was when he was a junior at Tennessee. Tons of potential and promise, couldn't deliver.

There is absolutely no chance in hell that Dons would have been any worse then Hodges, none!

and wouldn't have been any better. thus, the trade.

He got traded for a reason or they would have got rid of Rudolph instead of him. Didn't see anything out of Dobbs that led me to believe he was capable of leading this team.

we would have had 1 or 2 more wins if we had a better coaching staff. All losses over the years have been the same. not much adjustments/strategy etc

Dobbs played worse than Rudolph AND Duck in the preseason which made him more valuable as trade bait.

Even with that dumpster fire at QB, with all the injuries in Jacksonville, he still never saw the field.

Dobbs is fools gold.

Dude **** the bed against a 3 win Raiders team, I dont exactly think he would have been our savior.

There's no speculation for me. Tomlin sucks and we'll never do better than 10 wins with Tomlin. They will rarely win a playoff game and if we do it's a miracle.

We already rarely win a playoff game with Tomlin.

Superbowls don't grow on trees. Coach Tomlin has won one of those...

Mentioned this in another thread. I liked the Dobbs pick when we drafted him. But, we got rid of him and he couldn't even beat out a rookie in Jax. He is their No. 3 QB.

I'm a Vols fan, and I didn't like the pick at all.

Rudolph played lights out when he returned. He had rid himself of Fitchneritis that was causing him to freeze up and doubt his decision making in the pocket.

Same thing happened to Duck. It would have happened to Dobbs.

Fichtner teachs and preaches the dont's.
