Quite an interesting podcast with Dan Orlovsky. I always thought of the guy as a bit of a joke as a QB - running out of the end zone was one of the best ones. But he is obviously trying to make a name for himself as an evaluator and he does make some sense with this.

He rated the top QBs:

- Darnold
- Rosen
- Jackson
- Mayfield
- Allen

He thinks that Mayfield is a product of a system and while he has great competitiveness and intangibles he hasn't seen the NFL grade talent.

I think there is some potential with this class. We"ll see....

Darnold and Rosen have the most potential...as long as one doesn't go to the Browns. The rest are meh.

Rosen if he has a good OL looks like Peyton Manning at times. Could be a little injury prone. Best passer in the draft who did it with just an okay OL and Skill people.

Darnold turns the ball over too much. If he can fix that, he's going to be very good, if not a bust.

Baker Mayfield could be a poor man's Drew Brees. His football character and work ethic is under rated.

Allen needs another year, but has the best tools of the bunch. Stood out at the senior bowl.

Jackson isn't a good passer, nor is he bight, but the man can run and has an arm.

Rudolph is big, semi mobile, accurate, durable and smart. Was it him or his competition?

How good will the class of 2018 be? Of the six mentioned, I think decent, with 1 " franchise QB " 1 decent starter, 2 just okay type of starters and 2 busts.

Im hoping for 5 possibly 6 QBs going essentially moving the Steelers from 28 to 23. Then factor in that outside RB you dont really need an offensive player and teams reaching for a need. You are probably looking at somewhere between the 10th and 14th best defender.

None of these qb's scream "greatness" to me

Exactly. Let these idiotic teams pass up a talent like Barkley to take one of these clowns. I think Darnold has the best chance - his flaws are the most coachable
