Excellent. Ben's comments about that fumble in Indy in the 2005 playoffs really drive home what he means to this franchise and his fellow players.
Wille Parker made it a point to say Bettis never treated him like a threat or a challenger. Always the mentor, always the leader and teacher.
Cowher talked about Bettis taking less money and a diminished role for the good of the team. The less he played on the field, the more he contributed to helping his teammates prepare.
He was the soul of that 2005 Super Bowl team and along with Ben is the primary reason we have a dynasty going today.
