Conner went to the tent, was back on the field, and then I saw him going to the locker room before the game was over. What gives? Concussion protocol or what? Glad we have 10 days to rest up. Didn't see all the 4th quarter so didn't see if he came back but don't see anything on the board about it.

No word of him having any serious injury or concussion. I think Tomlin just said - Dude, take a break. We got this.

Conner thinks, "But Coach..."

Tomlin says "I know about your streak, James... I prefer you stay healthy and pound the crap out of the Jags."

Lol how long before tge rumors they did this just to appease bell starts? Lol yinzers gonna yinze this up something fierce....

He went back out there after going under the tent. CMT took precautionary measures with James by send him into the locker room. I doubt we'll hear anything until his next PC.

This is why having Bell back (assuming he wants to play hard) is better not worse for this team. One hit to a head and we’ Out our RB for a game. Hope Bell is back and plays hard. I guarantee that he rest of the AFC hopes he doesn’t come back. We should not thumb our nose at Bell if he can come back playing hard.

Yeah he has 10 days to recover thankfully.

Not only that, but even if he was concussed, it was a low grade one.

Everything points to this being a grade 1.

From what we saw, he never lost consciousness, and appeared aware in his cognitive abilities at the time Tomlin told him he wasn't coming back in. Put it this way: If
this were a playoff game, with the game still in doubt, he'd probably have stayed playing. I've had "my bell rung" a lot worse than that and never even took 1 play off. And,
we simply don't know if playing after a mild one even carries a risk; we simply don't know.

AND not hurt team chemistry. If I'm coach/owner/GM and I hear he said ONE negative comment about the team, even privately and off the record, I tell him to get the F out and not come back.

He looked fine dude will play and ball out. No worries

You don't quantify concussions in this league. You go through protocol and clear it.

First and foremost, I want JAMES CONNOR to be A-ok not just for football but for life after football.

I'm thinking he's going to clear protocall and be just fine. As for BELL, definately on the team provided he shows up / signs / and is willing to play hard. OUR head coach will make the "play hard" determination. If things are good with no negative mouth or attitude, and I don't think there will be a problem in that regards, I say use him to what helped the team. The only part I'm worried about it the full effort part. Saying one thing and doing another disguised effort could be hard to detect and BELL has shown he don't give two ***** for the STEELERS.

It's a wait and see type thing. First hurdle is Tuesday 4pm est.

Salute the nation
