Jaguars waive RB Leonard Fournette

No,he is just a horrible RB.The only reason some think that he is good is because our defense were soft in the 2017 playoffs.

You are crazier than hell. At this stage of his career Conner is the better back. Before you respond with stats Conner delt with defenses cheating closer to the line of scrimmage and injuries last season. Usually JC is a 4.5 per carry back.

And Fournette has never been good like James Conner was in 2018.

Just another Running back thrown on the scrap heap. I don't believe the new CBA made any concession for the position. Basically what happens is you leave college with twice the tread on the tire of most / all other positions. You get you rookie contract and give up your body for 4 years and one good one on a tag and then you FA but teams are not going to be interested because you are damaged and they know they can do just as well in the second/ third round.
 
Steelers have:

Conner
Snell
Samuels
McFarland
Smallwood
Whyte
Edmunds
Watt

Everyone's talent on this list can do a better job, at a cheaper price, than Fournette. No one wanted to trade for him during the draft, and we sure as hell don't want a beat up back, who is not a good teammate.

I don't think he's washed up, but there is a lot of tread on his tires. Beat up for me, means taking a lot of carries each season when he's healthy.

I don't know that he is washed up, but he is pretty much a 2 down bruiser back with a contract dispute and attitude issue (like you said).
 
This guy was such a beast & especially what he did to our 2017 Super Bowl “run” — the Steelers team that should have won #7...

Amazing how he just faded away so fast; though to be fair—Jags management destroyed that team from inside out

that's the second list I saw of potential suitors that has TB on it. Chicago, Wash and NE were also mentioned. I don't believe he is coming here. Like it has been mentioned, our current backfield is crowded.

If he has attitude issues, we don't need LeGarrette Blount 2.0. Great talent, but would quit on the team if not happy.

He will not be a Steeler. If they wanted a back he was there for the taking in round 2. They are happy with what they have and I'm not concerned.
