It's about time our beloved STEELERS are to take to the field of play. We will try to have a little bit of fun through out the year and all YOU have to do is predict some of the following things. SEASON over all win / loss, weekly picks, yes/no what ever questions and anything else that may come up. Before start of first game W/L entries are good after that you're out but welcome to participate in the weekly event(s).

We lose to the Browns at home..... :(
 
I have them at 9-7. I agree with your picks mostly, but I also think they lose to the Jags, Pats and split with the Ravens. I also think they beat Cleveland in Pittsburgh and lose the season opener at Cleveland.
 
I see 10-6, and go down to 9-7 if Bell never shows or sits til week 10. I just have not seen much from our defense in terms of improvement and think many games will become shoot outs

Wild Predictions
1) Ben throws 55 TD Passes
2) Our Defense is in the bottom 5 of the league in both yards and points allowed
3) McDonald catches 0 Td passes
4) We put up 40 points in at least 4 games
 
I have them at 10-6 although I wouldn't bat an eye if they were 9-7. Defense is going to be the achilles of the season.

Road Ben finishes 23-36 268 1 TD/2 Int
 
13-3 again. Browns will be slightly better but the rest of the division is awful.
 
I still think 12 and 4.

They always win a few you don't expect and lose a few we expect.

Tough schedule this year. If Bell comes back and McDonald can play 12+ games (which I doubt he even plays 8), I can see 12-4 or 13-3. The O would be unstoppable. But, I don't see that happening right now so I will go with 11-5.
 
I'm calling 11-5. Our record really doesn't matter much. We have to win a playoff game, otherwise, the season is a failure with the talent we have.

A few points to ponder. November has 3 road games and one night game at home. The road games are the Ravens, Jaguars, and Broncos. Three tough games? Say what coach, the Broncos suck.* Yes, they suck, but Tomlin teams don't play well in the west for road games... I'm not sure why.

Week #15 ( Dec 16 ) and #16 ( Dec 23 ) are vs the Patriots, who the Steelers just can't beat and the Saints on the road. I really think we need to have 10 wins by week #14. Just 8 or 9 wins after 14 weeks, we've got two tough teams with the playoff race in question.

back to back toward the end of the season losses? You can sell me on one of them, but the Steelers usually are hitting their stride come the home stretch.
 
I'm going with 11-5, but not with a lot of confidence. The defense has a lot of work to do, and offensively we're just a different team without LeVeon Bell.

Every game won't be that close. We usually have 2-3 games every season where we are lights out and have a 25+ point blowout. And it's usually in prime time. See Tennessee and Houston from last season. Tampa on MNF screams blowout to me. I think the Browns home game is another blowout coming out of the bye week.

There is also usually a game or two every season where Ben is just off and it's tough to predict when it would happen...typically it's early though. Jacksonville game 1 last season is the perfect example. I think it's the Falcons game this season.

PITTSBURGH at browns - W - Browns are improved but it's still a game that a SB contender should win
chiefs at PITTSBURGH - W - We seem to play Andy Reid and the Chiefs well.
PITTSBURGH at buccaneers - W - Blowout win on MNF
ravens at PITTSBURGH - W - Should pull it out at home but it will be close
falcons at PITTSBURGH - L - Usually a close game against the Falcons but I don't see us being able to stop their running game. One of Ben's wtf games. First and only home loss of the season.
PITTSBURGH at bengals - W - Bengals have not improved and we take care of business and head into the bye 5-1
BYE WEEK
browns at PITTSBURGH - W - Beat the Brows at home, if we lose this, might as well pack in the season
PITTSBURGH at ravens - L - Tough not to see a split against them
panthers at PITTSBURGH - W - This one is tough because it's TNF coming off of a physical Ravens game but we usually play Carolina well and it's a home prime time game.
PITTSBURGH at jaguars - W - Revenge from last season. Tomlin will have them coached up for this one
PITTSBURGH at broncos - L - Tomlin will use all the intensity and emotion against the Jags and this will be a let down game. One of those head scratching road losses to inferior teams.
chargers at PITTSBURGH - W - Chargers coming east in potential cold weather, I like our odds.
PITTSBURGH at raiders - L - We NEVER win in Oakland.
cheaters at PITTSBURGH - W - I think we get over the hump against the cheating ******** (again*)
PITTSBURGH at saints - L - Saints running attack scares me against our leaky D
bengals at PITTSBURGH - W - Clinch the division at home against the Bengals.
 
I like the feeling of 19-0 but realistically I can see 14-2 and a Super Bowl win - Ben wins offensive player of the week 4 times and throws another 500 yard game we beat the pats at home by 2 TDS and they the pats lose in their first round of the playoffs
