Police arrested Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland in York, South Carolina, on Tuesday, The State reports.

Breeland faces five charges — resisting arrest, transporting alcohol in a motor vehicle with the seal broken, open container of beer or wine in a motor vehicle, possession of 28 grams or less of marijuana or 10 grams of hash and driving without a license

The 'hash' tag... usually pertains to CBD, which in some states, is still treated as a Class 1 narcotic. It's just an add on charge in a state that doesn't understand the medical benefits of CBD.

Don’t know if it was on ESPN or Josina Anderson’s twitter handle, but Breeland’s attorney is implying foul play. Only thing his client should be charged with is a misdemeanor. There is video. It appears he legally bought a alcohol beverage at a gas station and as soon as he sat in his car a 2020 Land Rover pulls up with armed police.They conducted a search and you know the rest. Still how can you by alcohol without a DL, if he was charged with not having one.

Sometimes they go by looks as if you look beyond a certain age point you aren't ID'd. That is on a clerk by clerk basis as some simply take their job more serious than others. Sometimes those others ultimately lose their jobs if there is a sting and they guess wrong.
