Is Kevin Johnson worthy of 22nd pick overall

I really do not believe either of those guys are worth trading up for by a long shot and do not think gregory is worth the 22 nd pick. I would rather get the best punter or kicker in the draft with the sixth round pick and sure do not want to give up a third when we need so many players. That trade option only gives us a shot at two good players and we will likely end up with a bunch of also ran types.
Is Waynes likely the next Rod Woodson? If not don't trade.

I don't like the idea of trading up into a draft that seems to have so few special players either. Especially considering this team needs an injection of youth and depth in a lot of areas. I mean, really, can anyone say with any confidence that there is a big difference between Waynes, Peters, Collins or Johnson? Every "expect" that I listen to ranks those 4 guys in a different order. I'm sure Tombert is willing is sit at #22 and hope that one of the top CBs or edge rushers falls into their laps. If somehow the top 5 edge rushers and top 5 CBs (including Byron Jones) are all gone at #22, hopefully they can trade down a few spots and nab someone like Owa or Eli Harold.

Sort of felt that way for a while on most that are projected to be available out our pick and some who might fall to there. I'm not sure if that is only because they really don't seem worth it, or overall apathy on my part.

I have a hard time getting excited about a CB who shies away from tackling unless he is a Deion type cover corner.

Here's my take, for today...

If we stand pat - Marcus Peters is my pick - regardless of the falling stars at OLB/DE. But, as I think about this, as I'm typing, is coverage what we REALLY need? Or is a bonafide pass rush what we need???

QB's w/ no time to throw - throw picks. Gay will benefit, so will Blake and Cortez - adding two more CBs/DBs with their skillsets, later, could make our defense scary again. But this is ONLY IF we can get a BONAFIDE pass rusher early...
