Is it time to start mentioning Conner as top 5?

1. Todd Gurley LA 686 2. Ezekiel Elliott DAL 619 3. James Conner PIT 599 4. Kareem Hunt KC 592 5. Adrian Peterson WAS 58

It is showing that a hair under mid-season.

You need to look at all purpose yards and not just rushing yards for a bell cow RB. Gurley is 1 either way but Conner may be top 3 when you factor all purpose yards in.

Also, Connor is scoring those things called TD's. Nine in 7 games. The most rushing TD's Bell had in a season was ....9. Which was last season.

Ummm he is number 3 just looking at rushing yards.

OK, OK, I wasn't paying close attention there. I actually think he may be No.2 in all purpose for a RB but not sure. He has to be around 900 all purpose right now and I haven't really seen Zeke look all that good in the couple games I saw him play this year when I was still living in Dallas.

He's (Connor) 4th overall in yds from scrimmage (3rd amongs RBs) with 922 and is 2nd in rushing TDs w/9. What stunned me was S Barkley having over 1000 yds. Dude looks like the real deal right there.

I just saw right now that NFL TOTAL ACCESS film just named James Conner a Top 5 Running Back....

He's top 5 case closed. Leve'on, hey man can you grab James a bottle of Gatorade and um Bell, can you run into the locker room and get some Icy Hot for Ole' Ben over here. His eyes hurt from watching Conner rip through holes you would still be looking at and waiting for them to open

This is hilarious. Love it!

He runs like a Steeler RB. That is what I like the most. Now if we can get hard nose on defense.

Hey, I have to say, unless you're gonna factor in OL and all that, he is a top 5 back. He's getting it done.

Conner has 922 all purpose yards and 9 TD's in 7 games. Damn impressive no matter how you want to spin it. If he was able to maintain that pace, he would end up with over 2,000 yards and over 15 TD's. Those are crazy numbers. And, let's not forget, they didn't even go to him for the most part in 2 of the 7 games.

Yes. Conner greatly improved from his rookie year. I knew he was a power runner. This year he’s showing a very effective spin move and a quality stiff arm. He can also jump well and take it over the top to score. His are very good as a receiver. But above all else, he has the heart, will power, and stamina wear the other team out and run out the clock, keeping our defense off the field.

IMO, he’s a better fit for this team than Bell is.

Yea, it's all the line. Pats have been top 5 for how many years with no RBs to show for it?
