Let's face it, the Steelers have lost SIX of gather last EIGHT games and started this season 0-2. We have major holes on defense. The pass rush is good. The tackling sucks and our DB's are pretty bad in coverage.

In 2-3 years from now the Steelers will have some older and expensive vets that will need to be replaced. Ie. Ben, Pouncey, Haden, and Foster.

I no longer think we are a playoff team. Ben is on the decline...

Maybe it's time to start thinking rebuild, and if that's the case I might actually be okay with Tomlin while we reload for the next head coach.

I disagree with you on the defense having major holes. Only at Def Coordinator the rest are minor holes or inexperience.

Look at our first two games and the points given up. Can this D get a stop when they need one? How can you say we don't have major holes? The Run defense and coverage SUCK, and the problem is compounded by poor tackling and stupid players helping the other team out with flags.

If it means fire the idiot HC then yes, it’s rebuilding time.

Does rebuilding involve a new coach, cause I'm sure as **** up for that. They are glued to Ben for at least this year and next, so if you are barking up that tree it ain't happening.

Look at it this way. Tomlin probably cost this team a game or two a year, and when you rebuild you want higher draft picks, so in a sense, he's perfect if we are in a rebuilding mode for 1-2 years. Rooney will never fire him.

So cut / let the expensive older guys go, draft well and just don't offer Mikey a new contract. The next head coach will have cap space and younger players worth keeping. The idea of trying to break the bank to win now does not fit at all. We lost 6 of our last 8. This is not a hiccup it's a trend.

Problems with the Steelers on Defense can all start with Bud Duhpree! The guy should be CUT! Wasting $9 Mil on this bum this season. Mark Barron is also HOT Garbage! Bring on the young guys......Ola Adeniyi, Ulysses Gilbert III. As for our Secondary.....Haden & Nelson are both good! Cam Sutton needs to see the field more. Sean Davis isn't very good and Terrell Edmunds appears to have regressed from year 1 to year 2.

We have the young guys on this team but Tomlin keeps them benched and keeps the veteran guys he drafted in there who haven't done ****!

Coaches have to go...just flat-out bullheaded mentality to stay with Moncrief after that performance last week.

What logic. We did not make the playoffs last year. 4 straight you say?

he was answering to the reply that said he's been calling for the rebuild 5 years ago, back then the team had 4 straight playoffs...

So if you see the exact same failures for 8+ years it's time for a new coaching staff. They don't even teach the fundamental **** like tackling. They draft too many football stupid guys. We need someone who can actually build a formidable team. Watching this defense year after year is painful. It's pretty clear what needs to be done .

Coaching is more than likely what held guys like Jarvis Jones, Ziggy Hood, Keenan Lewis etc back.
They weren’t elite, but proper coaching would’ve turned some of these high draft status guys into servicable role players

Not many NFL teams need to rebuild. One or two players in the right spots can transform a team. After this week, we are seeing some of the same issues that can't be dismissed to playing New England. This doesn't look like a team that can finish above .500, but I'll hope for the best.

Trade Ben for draft picks to refill depleted roster, draft all offense, especially need a #1 WR and RB.

Let the stiffs on defense ride, too many holes to fix after a decade of bad drafts, need a new coaching staff to fix them
