Inviting In Jets Fans For Some Great Conversation

Welcome Jet's fans. I really have a high level of respect for you lot, hard core support through decades of struggle and disappointment.

The Steelers always start off slow and I'm not sure that they fixed the issues that plagued them last season. If the Jet's run all over the Steelers, it's going to be an ugly game and an even uglier year.

Do we? Tomlin is 10-5-1 in Season openers with much of that on the road thanks to the Pirates.

In general, not just openers. First 4-5 weeks seems like they're a bit out of sorts. maybe it's just perception? I dunno.

Recently it has been the end not the beginning that was an issue. He used to be better in November and December than early.

Within a game lately, true as evidenced by the 2.3 or 2.6 pts per first quarter last year.

But they’ve traditionally won week 1 matchups lately

In the Pirates defense they are an equally successful playoff squad as the Steelers as of late, a true force to be reckoned with and cannot just forfeit the hometown to the Steelers.

That isnt always good... sometime teams study a player and have plans on how to handle them but the backup is an unknown commodity...

And in the worse case scenario the backup is better... cleveland fans cheered when Joey Porter got ejected before that game ...then some kid named James Harrison played in his place...
 
Welcome Jets fans. No hate for your team. I hope Fields finds his career there. He's a good guy. So-so QB, IMO.

I predict we will win big, or just barely win, or just barely lose, or lose big.

I'll be correct here. You'll see.

Do you for-see a playoff scenario where they (Steeler & pirates) square off with each other to determine home field first?

Imagine this, should this occur……. At least one team would end its PO draught.

Pittsburgh should just trade the Pirates for a pro Girls Softball team that plays in Bikinis and never on Sunday...
