Just wanted to extend an invite to our friends over at Jet Nation to join and talk some football. Hopefully intelligent football talk from all parties.

They also are welcoming any of you guys - be respectful.

Go Steelers
Thanks, this is Max from JetNation. We appreciate the hospitality.

How does everyone feel about the game on Sunday? Thoughts on Aaron Rodgers?

It didn't work out for him in NY, the injury in year one and then the madness last year, it was definitely time for a change. Took Rodgers some time to settle in after the injury. By the time he started feeling good the season was already over. Saleh wasn't a good coach but once he got fired the wheels fell off even more.

I think the key for Rodgers will be can they give him time. And can he stay healthy. The arm is still there. Wheels not so much lol

The Steelers will go as far as their health allows them. If AARon stays healthy he will have some pretty decent options to throw to.

Two QBs facing each other that started for the opposing team.

Game one will be interesting…

I never liked Aaron Rodgers and he has been way better than I expected. He's been the veteran leader this offense really has been missing since Ben retired. As for the team, there are a lot of very good pieces in place, just not sure if the coaches will put them in the best position to succeed.

From the outside, it seems like the Jets have a pretty good head coach this year. I have no sense on the team. There are a couple of studs with Hall and Wilson on that offense. What is the expectation for Fields early in the season?

welcome max. Just hoping AR stays healthy and gives us a fighters chance

J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets!
Wanted to make you feel at home.
I think it will be a low scoring physical game. For us it all rides on our OL. Can they keep Mr.Rodgers clean and give him time? Can they open running lanes?
We shall see!

LOL “Jet Nation”.
Rumors were that the last time the Jets came to Pittsburgh their plane carrying fans was only half full.

The Jets are a good first challenge... the will be a hardcore run first team and we struggled with that last year... even without Harmon it will be interesting to see if we improved there

Should be interesting

Cam won’t be in game shape
Harmon out

Gonna be a test for Benton and Black

Hopefully Mikey T doesn’t clip TJ’s nuts again and give him another asinine assignment

The Jets and their running game with Fields as a
Dual threat could present the Steelers a challenge they aren’t ready for

Who am I kidding? SBWHCGOATMT will obviously have the men prepared and they won’t blink defending every blade of grass

Stop the Jets' good RB, Hall, force Fields to throw, keep him from running and the Jets offense will struggle.

If Hall picks up yardage, Steelers have to put a S in the box to slow down the running game, Fields then has time to throw and can break out of the pocket and pick up large chunks of yardage with his legs when pressured, the Jets offense will put up 24+ points.
