Invariably we have one of those What the **** were they thinking picks in the draft

If one of the Mods wants to change this into a pole feel free to do so.

What round do you think we will have our first What the **** pick?

Round 1 .we grab a player for a need spot when there are better guys at the same position on the board

Round 2 just a major **** up

Round 3 Archer revisited

Round 4 not a lot left but holy **** what were they thinking

Round 5 who the **** is this guy

Round 6 Ok if you are going to **** up this is as good a place as any

Round 7 the one armed **** flinging monkey strikes again

Not in any round, this is the year for no What the **** picks as everyone at least looks like they can play football and they are upgrades or replacing an older player that is gone or soon leaving or at least depth.

Actually, I don't care much about WTF picks if we aren't making them, although when the other teams are doing it it should help our drafts.
 
Rd 3, we stink at round 3 picks, except Keenan Lewis.

Round 1 when they take the CB from UConn and both Gregory and Ray are still available.
 
I'm preparing myself for the sprint to the podium pick of Maxx Williams with Peters, Ray, Gregory, etc all available.

Oh goody, another Archer thread. I hope you have better luck than I do getting it to 180 pages, bro.
 
Round 4...

I predict round 4 we select a RB and the board will proclaim the following:

"WHY A RB SOOO EARLY?!?"

"DRAFT A CB/OLB!!!"

"THIS DRAFT NEEDED TO BE ALL DEFENSE, 0-16 HERE WE COME"
 
WTF moment: the Steelers fans at the event cheer Goodell when he goes up to the podium
 
I think this year round one has that potential

As it might be a small school corner or a troubled OLBer times 2 or the BPA which turns out to be something other than CB and OLBer.


We will be ok with someone who slides to two as I have seen people celebrate Sweed.

As long as we are not picking some Archer clone (didn't see one) , I think the mentioned is your WTF for people.

For me it might be Shane Ray as I think he is overrated. Can't think of anyone who would send me in a breaking material objects sort of mood.

Unless we take a Kicker 1st round or suddenly redraft Dri Archer just to make sure we have him onboard, nothing really surprises me in the draft. BPA is BPA if that's the route they wish to go

ROFLMAO .... because it could happen .... seriously. Not by accident, but design.
 
Does it really matter? There will be people on here bitching about every pick anyway.
 
The only guy that I'd really say WTF to in the first is Shaq Thompson or one of the running backs. Beyond that, I could see them taking almost anyone.

I was hoping no one would mention Shaq. His name has been linked to the Steelers about as much as Shazier was last year .... and the whole "versatility" thing might have caught Colbert/Tomlin's eye. Sometimes versatility is over rated: ie "jack of all trades, master of none."

The WTF draft was going great til Swan in the 7th, if we get a player at a need position of that caliber in the 7th... Anything is possible
 
You guys really went past the spirit of the question with entire WTF drafts I was wishing for only one or none but it is what it is. I gona hope for none. As to guys saying this guy is better or that guy is better that would be fine we still debate things like that all the time. I just do not want the next JJ, Laundry, or dri picked up by the team.

Are you serious? Wallace,Sanders,Wheaton,Spence come to mind quickly and while Brown was never a starter he was a leading special teamer for several years. Pick another round to ***** about.
