Invalid Link - Check SN Home Page mock draft

Hakeem Butler would be a nice addition to the offense.

With the signing of Stevie Nelson - methinks the Steelers still target a defensive player.

IMO, Devin Bush is now the target pick.

I would say the second round pick definitely would change and Butler is obviously in the mix at 20. But Butler would fill imo the biggest offensive hole we have now.

I could definitely live with this draft. It would also allow us to trade/cut Burns, which I'm definitely in favor of.

If a stud three down inside linebacker falls. You take him. You have to. If it's a good linebacker and one of those big receivers. I got to go there. Ben can make a receiver great. Tomlin will probably just **** up another defender.l

I see the Steelers moving up 4-5 spots to make sure they get Bush. After missing out on any ILB last year they aren't going to miss the boat again.

Moving up 4 or 5 spots at 20 isn't like moving up 4 or 5 spots at 27. I'd think that would cost everything they got for AB.

If the second Devin is there, i agree. I really think they're going to get aggressive. I'm guessing moving up to 15 to get him.

Terrible draft. Once again, we don't address our biggest and most glaring need at ILB. Butler is good but we can get good WR's in the 2nd or even 3rd rounds this year. Not a fan of that draft in the least.

I think the Steelers will watch until 1 Devin is off the board and then plot to move up to take the other one. Hopefully we only
have to give up 1 pick, likely a 3rd or 4th.

One big reason I don't want Butler in the 1st is he drops too many passes. We need a big target with decent speed that has GOOD hands. Too many guys in this draft that don't have questionable hands to pull the trigger on Butler in the 1st.

I've read that before and has to be a question mark. In the few IowaSU games I watched, I didn't see it. What is maybe of equal concern is the limited route tree all of which imo can be taught/learned. He's a straight liner who just out-muscles the D and hasn't been forced to develop past that.

Iowa State’s Hakeem Butler is not only the tallest wide receiver at this year’s combine (6-5 3/8), but his hands are also a freakish 10 3⁄4 — the same size as the largest hands in the NBA. The combination of Butler’s hand zone and his impressive 35 2/8 arms give him an incredible 83 7/8 wingspan; which mean he has the arms of a person who is 7 feet tall.

Worth a flier in round 1? Think so.
