Interview with Pead

Seems like a good kid who really wants to do his best and cares a lot about the game and winning.. Let's hope it translates to the field. Best of luck Isaiah

Pretty much my exact thoughts.

Sometimes a change in teams can do wonders. Don't know yet if this is the case.

But pehaps the cut and time off helped motivate him to fine tune his game...

We could've dug up a descent number 2 for the future. Fingers crossed for this kid.

As with EVERY Pittsburgh Steelers player, I wish them the absolute best in their game and behaivior !!!! (including little dri, while he is here).

Salute the nationm

NOT SAYING it's the same thing, but I remember a RB castoff from the Rams we picked up in the past. He turned out pretty well.

To be 100% honest I think this is Dri last shot with the team. It will take Pead a few weeks just to get in tune with the offense and as stated in the beginning of the season by Haley it's hard to take Bell of the field because he has no holes in his game. Well, Bell is off the field so I think the next two weeks will determine if Archer is on the team come next September. I for one am rooting for Archer to bust off a 80 yard screen play for a TD but if he doesn't do anything and Pead supplants him on the depth chart he is done. It is time to sink or swim. He has not had much if any opportunity and even last week he came out of the end zone on a KR and was tackled before the 20. The special teams coach must have got mad so he had Todman try who was instantly tackled before the 20 so my theory of our poor kick return average being more about blocking and scheme than the returners ability is looking pretty solid. I mean hell look at Brown in the PR game. He's not doing squat either.

So lets hope Archer can do what he was drafted to do and make a few splash plays on Sunday!

Well......that might be a bit of a stretch, I do hope he does incredibly well while in the black and gold.

Thanks 81 for the video. Nice to get to "meet" the new guy. He sounds motivated, but humble. The girl doing the interview was a little messed up. She obviously implied that he was waiting at home for the perfect week where players get hurt so someone like him can get a chance. Could have worded that better IMO. However, he presented very well. Fingers crossed that we found a gem in Isaiah.

i know the steelers were high on Pead when he was in the draft, but the Rams got him. I really liked him in college. At the time, the steelers had power guys and needed a back who could play in the passing game. They later struck gold with Bell. Pead is similar To Gio Bernard.

Here's a video of him from college. He great in open space and may end up the 3rd down back.

Ray Rice is better and I hear he's still looking for work. What's another criminal when we've already got Vick?
