Good article but when he says the Steelers did a good job in signing their free agents with their contract structure, he is ludicrous. Allen and Mitchell have good size price tags and will cost us a ton if we cut them. Those contract structures were the biggest and both suck. Sure, you can "save" a million bucks or two but you can't sign a decent replacement for that. And, there is no way I pay Worilds $8 million. Again, you don't pay someone that kind of money just because you don't have anyone else on the team. Based on how he has performed, he is worth $4 to $5 million, at best. You could put incentives in there to boost his pay but I would not give him $8 million base.
