By: Michael Stiffler, @Stiffeezy_ on Twitter SteelerNation.com Injuries continue to plague the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver room. To start off training camp, James Washington was placed on the COVID-19 list and unable to participate. After coming off the COVID-19 list, Washington was practicing on a limited basis but has since returned as a full participant. […]

Nice write up Mr. Stiffler.

I see the concern of time being spent to solidify the chemestry between said WRs and QB. I think that "chemestry" will come faster than some think. Both Washington & Deonte adjusted with-in the season to two different QBs.

EWvery team in the NFL will have similar situations of short time but My worries is the "notorious" slow start to the season. It's be nice if they didn't dig a hole and came out 4-0 or 3-1 to start the season.

GOOD LUCK to all the offense and extra HOOCHIE to the injured.

Salute the nation

Why is the NFL not doing say 4 Bubbles...This will not go well

Interesting discussion on the radio a few nights ago with Pat Kirwin, Jim Miller and Ron Rivera. One of the things they were talking about with camp is players get calloused or hardened to the tweaks, bruises, twists etc. Basically just get used to playing with them. Did not make it sound like it was a big deal, but just rather part of the process though he did cite that process will probably overlap into the first few weeks of the season for all teams. I suspect that much of these injuries are just that, but the chemistry and timing concern with Ben coming off injury is a realistic one. It will come, but it is going to take a bit of time and repetition.

Do you honestly think it will make that much of a difference? The NBA had issues trying this and you know there will be players pushing the envelope on where they're allowed to go.

Every team is in the same situation, and glad the minor injuries as just that.

Oh yeah him being on the same page with practically a year off? It could very well last a month into the season. I do think he is pressing harder because of the rehab and with his slow starts..the teams slow starts... That might not be such a bad thing. We might see a more improved version, hungrier QB. And we know how hunger can drive a team to good things.
