My pick is going to be Dennis Allen. He failed miserably with Oakland as a younger nfl coach. But everyone fails with Oakland. I feel much like Belichick trying to turn around the Browns, Allen was tasked with the impossible. If you look at the no name Saints defense they were always bottom five. Allen has improved them every single year. From second worst, to 26th, to 16th, to 11th and has been about there ever since. But what I love is he does it with little talent. I think the tutelage of Sean Payton has paid off and he’s grown from his experience with the Raiders.

Who’d you pick?

Bill Belicheat.
But seriously, Byron Letftwich, Duce Staley, Eric Bienemy, or Todd Haley.

I'm unsure of who I'd pick. It would be someone who is meticulously prepared and doesn't make mistakes and demands the same of his players. Definitely not someone whose biggest skill is flapping his gums.

Anyone? Bruce Arians. Or Andy Reid.

Not Arians. I know I'll catch hell but without Brady's discipline that team's a mess.
Arians has done a solid job as a head coach with multiple teams. Both of those coaches are better than what we have in place.

Solid job yes. I just don't think Arians gets them over the top without the work ethic Brady instills in everyone.
Guy was HC of the year twice. Won SBs as a HC and OC. Brady looked like he was declining then Arians got a hold of him. I don't just give that credit towards Brady.

I know this is not popular but currently pass on Bienemy.

I'd have slash and Ford Fairlane lead up the scouting departent with Coolie as a consultant / traveling scout.

I'd just remain a non-public owner who walks the facility envolking wisdom.

Salute the nation

The guy I like already is a HC in Indy, Frank Reich. Very good offensive minded coach who I would love to have here. Not going to happen but one can dream.

I like the DC there. I've heard he's a stickler for the details and hustle. Also heard he's primed to be a HC.

I agree Brady's skills are in decline. But NE was as a team. This is probably the most skill Brady has been surrounded by in his career.

His work ethic isn't in decline.

I’ll play. How bout Joe Lombardi? Offensive mind for today’s game. Air Force background so there’s discipline. And look how Herberts career has taken off. Any takers? Discuss amongst ya-selves……

Who is responsible for those skill positions being strong? Arians helped assemble the team and coached them to a trophy. Beating a talented Chief team. Part of being a HC is making sure the right talent is on the field and then getting them to perform at a high level. You forget the Bucs have a very talented D as well.

He didn't do well as a HC but I'd take Todd Bowles to run the defense for sure. I don't know, there are probably younger guys out there that are hungrier but I honestly don't watch much NFL anymore.
