If we somehow get a good tight end or receiver the we could be scary as hell.
Diontae I think is gonna be a star, healthy juju, Washington and one more good receiver, look out

Rarely we have 4 WR on the field, rather get a blue chip TE than WR. We won't get one of those in this draft though

And if Ben can make it back which I’m praying that he will. We should still bring in a veteran QB just in case

well we have AB coming back so.....

Bring him in,.... Kick the tires,......... Was never used properly, vet minimum, would look good in black & gold...... NEEDS a new coach

Put AB and Bell in a ring and tell them the winner gets a roster spot with a shiny rich contract. Then after the fight throw out, " just kidding- got damn Ben again".

Remember last year we signed moncrief. I was excited, I was thinking this was going to be one of those Colbert gems. He's a FA , not on a team!

His injury outcome was unforeseen. Sometimes **** just happens.

TE would be my highest priority for the team going into the new season on offense. Signing Bud to a long term deal will be my highest priority for the team overall.
I dunno that running game needs a serious talent injection. At least one G and one RB.

Just read an article that said Bud's market value was somewhere near 16.6 million/year. And the funny thing about it was that his market value was higher than another OLB that had better numbers (can't remember who). We can't afford that, particularly with Watt coming up. If Bud is worth 16 million/year, Watt will get 35 million/year - yeah not even kidding!!! Watt is 3 times the player Bud is!

I would be shocked if they sign Bud long term. If they do and then have to pay Watt and Minkah in the next year or two, plus probably resigning Cam, this team will have no money for offense to replace Ben when he does retire. The future of our D for basically the next decade is Watt, Bush and Minkah. Those three will get the big contracts. Everyone else will be complementary pieces. Bud can get more money elsewhere. The only way we sign him is if he takes what we can offer him, which will probably be in the 10 to 12 million per range. I wouldn't go any higher than that.

we just need 2-3 low key free agent accusations after locking up bud like a vet WR who can make to moncrief like I have Tajee Sharpe in mind or Funchess or Lazerd if he is willing to take a decent mid range deal. 1 TE blocking Ala Mercedes Lewis or Delaine Walker and cut Vance keep vannett and draft te aq vertical threat Okwuegbunam then that should fill our immediate needs it cant hurt to explore a vet RB like a AP or Gore but perhaps with a healthier OL and better play at LG fresh legs the line will be better.

This puzzle isn't complete, the final piece being Ben.

McDonald was almost invisible last year, with #7 behind center and both of them healthy, he's at least serviceable.

Who's the last player they drafted that we thought they should draft?

sean lee cant cover the way he used to he is damaged goods I rather see a rotration of bringing in Edmunds or Gilbert as the cover LB while Vince Blitzes or Bush blitzes

Duprees stats weren't top 5 for his position, he was 9 un sacks and not even top 20 in pressures. Granted, he is been good against the run but is a decent starter worth a 16M contract?

I mean Nelson and Haden aren't even close to that number and one can easily argue that they are top 10 CBs.

Hargrave is a good starter but would you give him top 5 NT money? That's exactly what would happen with Dupree. Ok, OLB is a skill position and is like apples to oranges because it's not so hard to find a substitute but that shouldn't be an excuse to overpay and then be in cap hell in the future.

I'd check the FA market and if there's a cheaper option that can start opposite to all pro monster TJ Watt and still give you 8 to 10 sacks then that's what I would pay. Use the rest of the money to get a decent TE and then invest the draft picks in Oline, RB, backup S and NT.

I'm not sure of finding a cheaper BUD but one thing for sure is its hard to give high dollar long term contract when he hasn't proven long term ability. We have talent that will surpass Chickillo and chick should be gone regardless, just how far existing rostered talent climb is the question.

Woodley was a talent but needed the guy on the other side to get his elevation raised, Bud is a talent but similarly, he has TJ on the other side and that definately helps elevate BUD's game. It would definately elevate whomever is across from TJ, WEATHER EXISTING OR FA.

Isn't this draft supposedly a little light on TE talent? It may be a case of waiting till next year being a better move on taking a TE. Maybe ride it out with Vance one more year and see if Gentry can do anything.

Here's the problem with brining back AB. You already took a dead cap hit of $19M to get rid of him. You are losing money signing him to a vet min contract.

He'd have to pay us if he wants to play here again...

Guy I think is semi trying. But he is still unstable and still has pending off the field question-marks,

I would bring in a free agent WR not named AB.
