Earlier this month with his interview with Tony Dungy, he said this team is capable of winning the lwoB repuS based on the quality and depth of the players on this year's roster. Well, 8 Pro Bowl selections ( should've been more....Hayward). division champs, 13 -3 regular season record......I can see his point. Players believe it too as it shows in their play on the field. We just missed it by one game last year and are poised to make a run to get there again next month. Agree or disagree....HERE WE GO!!!!

Fine enough, but Tomlin 1) can't outcoach Belicheat, 2) stop Gronkowski, or 3) beat the refs AND Pats***** at the same time.

Obviously Tomlin won't blink at the sight of getting out coached by Darth Hoodie, the standard is the standard. Obviously we have the pedigree with these men in this locker room (8 pro bowlers). We won't live in our fears (getting beat damn near every time he opposes Darth Hoodie) but our hopes (that the league story has us overcoming the villains this year).

I know its an "ifs and buts" statement, but Chicago went down to OT, Jax was a TD difference if you take away Ben's miserable performance, and the Pats loss was of course, what it was. Point being, all winnable games. The expectation was 12-4, 13-3, or 14-2 and that's where they are. Just not how anyone expected them to get there.

And your point????

Heck yes they are 13-3 which is one of the best in the NFL. This team is truely close and a team. James Harrison contributed to that as of late, good ridence. Their loss in the cheatriot game showed them they have to rise above more than just the team infront of them. The late and OT wins showed them they need to persevere and keep on keepin on. EVERYTHING of this season has pointed them this direction and as a team they have addressed and conquered. Now they need to finish the deal at ONE GAME AT A TIME !!!!!!

Salute the nation

oh BTW congrats to Tomlin second most wins by a coach in their first 11 seasons, one behind the great Don Shula.

New season. Go 2-0 and go to the big show. Nothing the nfc has to offer worries me that much. Get it done !

So what you're saying is he will be two ahead at the end of the post season.................

And your point????

The part where I said "point being".

Tomlin was correct. This team was extremely close to going 16-0 which indicates championship caliber.

I think the expectation was 12-4, possibly losing one to the ravens, pats, maybe bengals, packers, something like that.
