So far I've read/heard, Fichtner sucks, the WR's suck, the Oline sucked, the defense didn't play good enough, it's because a ******* song, Renegade, we lost???

How about we just say what the real issue is, Rudolph and Hodges suck, they have weak arms, can't put the ball tight spaces, and can't read a defense.

I think everyone knows they suck.

Thierbis tape on the duck now. Defenses know what to expect of him. Hopefully he proves good enough to overcome yesterday

They are not good, but I will take those mistakes over the OC calling that ridiculous wildcat before halftime. Or the defense called on third and 18 which led ultimately to converting 4th down. Those are unforgivable errors of coaching and execution. How the **** does he run for 13 yards untouched when you are rushing 4 and MUST be in zone. There had to be a linebacker standing in the middle of the field and DB's in the deeper flats. How does that happen.

I seem to remember our future Hall of Fame QB putting up 3 ******* points in the season opener.

All the talking heads did leading up the game was pimp White as a shutdown corner and what do we do...attack him because apparently they wouldn't expect it lol. I swear we have the only offense that attacks opposing defenses strengths.

Very true and our now vaunted defense getting completely shredded by an offense that frankly is not that good. Hmmmmmm. Who prepared this team for that game.

Did you forget about the 2 TD drops, and Moncrief running the wrong route that would've been another TD, if he catches it, along with the 8 other drops in that game?

They're green. Really green. I like Hodges out of the two. With that being said I could piss in the wind all day about gameplans, scheme and coaching.

It really seems we just can't put a whole team together of a championship caliber across the board.

These discussions have taken place for a good number of years.

Maybe they need to get with the high tech cheating program. I hear it works wonders. Maybe a few x cia /nsa folks on payroll....bam

This is deeper than just the qbs sucking... go back to those games Ben threw 5 picks in the Jacksonville games. Horrible game plans. The qb try’s to execute the plan laid out by the OC. He has all these ******* short throws to the sideline And these weird hard to execute over the outside shoulder throws like the pick six in last nites games. The pick six when game was tied was a mirror of a throw Ben made against Jacksonville. 38 throws called with an undrafted 3rd string qb only 13 runs... in a game that was 10-10. he should have been fired on the spot this morning. Duck finished the game looking horribly defeated and it was a complete mirror of how Rudy finished the Cleveland game again completely defeated and embarrassed throwing interceptions like throwing candy to a crowd of kids. Butler and fuktner both suffer from “look at me I’m a mad genius” in the past they had great players left over from cowher era to bail them out they don’t now. They have incredible talent for most part especially on defense there’s no excuse to be losing.

For the life of me I am trying to think of who else is available...

Why didn't we trade a #5 for Teddy Bridgewater?

I'm not saying the play calling is perfect or good. Not even close, but they're kind of screwed, no matter who the WR's are, or who the RB's are, teams are going to stack the box and force Mason or Duck to make throws downfield to beat them and loosen the defense up, neither can do that.
Yes, can't have a QB thread without the, well Ben threw int's, yes Ben has made some bad throws and picks, but those games are few and far between and he can throw an out on a rope, or he can throw the ball 25 yards downfield without having to throw it 50 feet in the air, he can make throws to open up a defense.

Mason sucked vs the Browns and Bengals defenses. Bills defense was probably the best we faced since the Patriots.. I'd definitely still stay with Duck.

That, and they're putting him in a terrible position. As mentioned before, he had more attempts than any other rookie in Steelers history against the no. 2 pass defense and the no. 21 ranked run defense never down more than 7 points. And they're calling slow-developing pass plays instead of mainly quick-hitters. I find it hard to believe Duck doesn't know how to hit a slant or crossing route. And what did the offense have, 14 rushing attempts? SMDH.

While Ben was about a week away from season ending surgery? He wasn't sharp that game but he still had about 36 passes dropped, two of them in the endzone and then there was Mongrief making it his personal goal to be identified as the worst free-agent signing in the history of human.

Before Ben’s injury he had been looking like **** dating back to the last few games of last season.

In New Orleans week 16 last season, Ben 33-50, 380 yards, 3TDs, no picks. Rookie Jalen Samuels is our starting RB.

Yeah, what a **** performance.

Dumbass...

Yeah season after season after season with a winning record. They sure were bricks for brains. Best you leave the adult talk for the grown ups.

Yeah, the defense giving up 5 4th quarter leads had alot to do with that and JuJu fumbling at NO, which knocked us out of the playoffs.

Yep, can't have a QB thread without the Ben bashers coming out in full force, Ben could've had the worse season of his career and it would have zero to do with Rudolph and Hodges being crap.

Ok, I think they are what they are,and like it or not we were stuck with them for the season. We were all hopeful, and even though they are rookies and could potentially get better,I think most of us can see that they are not long term starters. So. Let’s move forward. Enough of the why didn’t we have this D in Bens prime.....spent 50 first rounders onD ....all that ****. It’s been done. But like it or not we have to think of Ben’s replacement sooner rather than later.

By the way,did you like the Bill’s QB ? I was saying to my son he reminded me of Ben coming out....big strong kid, with a touch of mobility and a rocket arm. Little bit of a swagger too.
