He was chirping at the Steelers the entire first half ... and whining to the officials the entire second half.

The game on the line, he is asked to cover Bryant, a guy playing his first game of the year, and was freaking toasted. I want a front-running, whining little ***** like that near the Steelers roster about as much as I want an IRS audit.

But anyway, if the big criticism of him is that he couldn't cover Martavis, I don't think that's necessarily the worst thing ever. Martavis honestly might be one of the most underrated players coming out of the draft in a long time. I have all the confidence in the world in the kid. I think when healthy and playing, he is one of the league's better WRs already with potential to be one of the league's best if he reaches his prime healthy and not suspended

If you had watched the game, you would have seen Mathieu prancing, preening and ****-talking after every crappy Vick pass fell incomplete. Every ... @#$%ing ... one.

Then, after Jones takes over, Bryant treated him like a schoolgirl. It was hilarious watching Bryant just overpower the clown. And after basically every completion against him (there were many), Honey Whiner is moaning to the officials - about being *****-slapped yet again, I guess.

He is a punk-*** *****. Look at it this way - the best Steelers CB would cover Brown, right? If the Steelers #2 CB gave up 137 yards and 2 TD's to the guy he is covering - in one half of football - and against the 3rd string QB, what would we be saying about him?

I'm with you here fellow Aggie. This kid reminds me so much of a young Randy Moss on the field. I just hope he can stay focused during and after the season because I think this kid can be a supersar in this league where no one will be able to cover him.

Bryant got down to the 30 and had 3 guys following as he cut it back .

Not one of the 3 took a chance/dive at a tackle and they were within range to do so.

I thought that too, however...

If one of them dives, it wouldnt necessarily have been a high % tackle attempt. Diving could also potentially take out your teammate. So they probably figured:

" Hey, there are three of us running behind him. Surely one of his can catch up to him and pull him down. Surely he wont outrun all 3 of his for 88 yards. Right?"

But Cardinals would find out what we already know- Bryant is a physical beast.

When he is on the field he is a difference maker...

He was freaking torched. Peterson was amazing and played like a great defender. Mathieu struggled and not surprisingly, the Steelers targeted his side of the field. He failed to answer the challenge.
