with the Jets this year. possibly with the Eagles this year. should he be a choice for us as WR coach or no way. Joey seemed like a great choice for LB coach also

I prefer a more experienced WR coach in the Drake mold or close to it.

There isn't enough room here for both Shades' ego and Hines' ego.

Just because Porter didn't work out, doesn't mean Hines wouldn't.
Hines worked very closely with JuJu his rookie season during training camp, Hines was the guy he went to after drills.

I want Hines 100%. He worked his craft. Greatest receiver in Steeler history. All facets. Wasn't the tallest, wasn't the fastest, yet always made plays and blocked well. I'm sure he learned from D. Drake, and this year at jets. Foolish not to bring him in now that Drake is fine and we need a rec. Coach.

Would love to see Hines back in black and gold. Its bullshit that he wasn't here to begin with.

Ward has been training to be a coach since he was a veteran on this team coaching up the young guys. He's worked as a training camp intern as well with the Steelers, though his comments toward Ben and Tomlin last year probably wouldn't help his cause.

The Eagles have an opening and their fans want him on their staff, so I don't know if there's anything to that talk. The Jets fans and bloggers seem to think very highly of him and credit him with the growth of their top receiver.

Yeah I thought I read that it's between him and Bobby Engram for the Eagles' WR coach. He's obviously doing some really good work.
