Heyward?

Dale said he limped out of the stadium on his own power. Not sure what to make of that.

Maybe he is just banged up.

Heyward is a team leader and he put forth a very hard effort today (he always does). I hope he isn't gone long and I agree on the VET day off, possibly two.

Salute the nation

It's a knee. They were doing standard tests on the knee. He came out earlier, had a drawer test to check the ACL, and it was negative. So he went back in, then hurt his knee again. I don't think it's a ligament. If I'm speculating, I hope it is his meniscus. That can be a 2 week arthroscopic fix. We won't know for sure until after his MRI on Tuesday. That's usually MRI day.

They also woulnd't let him walk off the field if it was bad.

Spit on the damn thing. Rub some dirt on it and go out and play Heyward. Come on man.

It is being reported by someone who covers the Steelers that Cam Heyward's injury is not serious! I'm just not sure if I can post the link or mention the name of the reporter but he works for a Pittsburgh newspaper and his initials are "GD"

Cam had a damn good game. I like that they moved him around on the line yesterday as well. Good adjustments from the first half where the offense couldn't posses the ball to save the D to the second half where the defense started imposing their will.
