The Pittsburgh Steelers are patiently waiting for a decision from quarterback Aaron Rodgers on whether or not he intends to continue his playing career. The four-time league MVP is scheduled to become a free agent, but the expectation is that he would come back to the Steelers if he decides he wants to continue playing. Pittsburgh's quarterback situation is very much up in the air as Rodgers continues to think about his future, which is par for the course based on the last several offseasons. Rodgers played well in 2025, and the organization would welcome him back for the 2026 season.
