I'm only about half way through it, but it starts with him being raised in Crafton, and the work ethic of western PA. People that influenced him and his determination to never quit. How he developed his coaching philosophy and dealing with people as individuals. I realize it's coming from his perspective, but I find myself asking why did you walk away, but we all know why. It delves into who Cowher is as a person, even if he was friends with Belicheat.

Let me know when you get to the part about staying with a QB with zero accuracy and who could not read a defense for years. It has to be because he was in a heavy drinking phase of his life.

C’mon Slash, you know no coach will let that cat out of the bag. When it does, and I’m talking way down the road, it’s going to be a player or someone from Kraft’s organization that will fess up about Belichick’s orchestrations.

sitting on my deck third beer and enjoying Chapter three. strikes me that this statement pretty much summarizes everything happening. I don't hear exactly what I want about one thing so **** this. To me this story is about growing up in Western PA from a kid to the leader of the flagship franchise in the league. The highs and the lows. If he whines about the Patriots he looks like a *****. So honestly Slash. Enjoy most of your thoughts but we really differ here.

I would have respected a more honest assessment but I knew with him being in the spotlight we weren't going to get one. But don't get me wrong I am sure his overall story is a good read. I probably would have even preferred for him not to even mention the cheats that still would have been better than blowing smoke up our arses.

It is what it is. I might read it one day I just loathe that organization and all they have gotten away with.

I just won't purchase it.

One thing for sure is....................................................

our BILL isn't associated with multiple cheating scandals.

To be fair. we don't know what his honest assessment really is. Unless you are drinking buddies with Cowher it is pretty easy to inject what you want to hear. Maybe he doesn't think it was such a big deal. Maybe they had their own little games and Intel systems.

I can only assume that he's being honest in the book's presentation. His relationship with BB is brief in coverage as they were both coordinators, becoming head coaches about the same time. He doesn't cast blame on others for the times things didn't go well, but felt it was on him for not teaching well enough and not assuming that those he was teaching actually understood what he was trying to convey.
