Tomlin deserves the blame, but every week I hear how this is one of the best if not the best Olines in football. We had the ball at the 2 vs Denver who had the worst run defense in the league, and Connor gets stuffed for no gain. The best Oline can't get anything on the worst run D?
This week Oakland has the 31st run D I believe, Ben is out we need to run the ball, and they opened no running lanes, I saw once where Ridley missed a cut, but when we absolutely have to be able to run the ball, this high dollar line can't do it

This OL is good at pass pro. They are very average at run blocking. They can't just line up and knock people off the ball, it's definitely more a finesse OL than our old power football lines that were better at run blocking but not as good at pass pro.

We have Foster who is awful at the pulling guard spot, slow, fat and lazy and he is mediocre as a pass blocker. Filer is just a guy and our center is weak against big DTs that just overpower him. We are who we thought we were.

No doubt, they stunk out loud when they should have been walking up and down the field against a team playing for the first pick. It was a group suck today.

I'm pretty confident when I say the online is the least of the problems behind maybe the pass game. What did they run 12 15 times.

Samuels and Ridley didn't help the run game much either. Neither have any kind of burst when they hit the hole, both are very slow.

Samuels has no explosion when he hits the hole but Ridley is not slow, he has mediocre vision and runs into the tacklers.

With Dobbs in the game the Raiders sold out to stop the run, daring Dobbs to beat them with his arm. That obviously didn’t happen.
Agreed but the money we are paying these guys and then how ****** their run defense is, and we can't gain anything?
Hell Baltimore has run for 200+ vs teams selling out to stop the run.
I'm not expecting to go down the field running with ease, but we can at least move the ball a bit. First half 10 carries for 6 yards

Munchak for HC!

I'm no means saying they are a big issue this year, but this game they were

Makes me wonder whether Tomlin had his team looking past the Raiders to the Pats. Not like he doesn’t have a history of such actions.

This line can run block. Any line that is called on to run block 10 - 15 times a game will not impress. These guys are stepping back and pass protecting most plays.

Are you serious, that’s Tomlin’s specialty. Hell, by not using Ben it just shows that he was thinking about the next game DURING the current game on the field. It’s unreal.
