Harris signed

I thought I heard he started every game for Denver?

I have a feeling that deal is a heck of a lot cheaper than what Okung would've commanded. Not really sure which one is better, I don't follow Olineman too closely. Anyone know if he's any good?

Started at LT when Clady went down. Servicable... More like insurance for AV. I still think they take a tackle in the draft.

I think he was their starting RT tho...

Cheap. Considering how good Gilbert was, if our LT went down for the year I think they would consider sliding Gilbert to LT and Harris/Adams would play RT.

He was the starting LT for Denver. This is a cheap deal and certainly not starter money so I wonder if the offer to Okung is still there? I wouldn't be surprised if it were and he signs with us. Harris would add badly needed depth and can play both RT and LT which is a good thing. This would allow us to move Adams on his pudgy little way.

We are gonna keep Adams. Harris is there to push AV and compete with him.

We shall see but I'd still like Okung as my starting LT over the two you mention. To me Harris is valuable since he can play both tackle positions and I like him for depth but not as my every day starter. Villy is ok and is still learning and to me we don't need a guy protecting ben's blind side who is getting on the job training. Adams has not distinguished himself in the three years he's been on this football team. No big loss.

This is a cheap and very intelligent signing. If he doesn't do well we have Villanueva available to back him up. The FO is working wonders this off-season. Now time to get the defense put together in the draft.

X factor on Okung, dude has never completed a full 16 game season. Not who I want protecting Ben

I don't see why this would stop the Steelers from getting Okung or Beachum if they can be had at a reasonable price. Harris is getting backup money.

All this does is ensure that there won't be a hole at LT, it doesn't mean they are now set at the position.

Village is still our LT

Exactly my point Tape! He's a backup and I'm fine with the signing but I would feel better with Okung as my every day starter and also like the fact that he would be under the close eye of Munch as well. I still feel the team is hoping he accepts their offer and would be surprised if they pulled it for Harris. Man we could be set at OL for the near future especially if they ink David De Castro long term now which lowers his cap. Everyone would be signed long term with some capable backups in Villy, Harris and I suppose Adams which to me is still an unknown.

I don't care if he got two cents, the guy was the starting LT for a championship team Last Season, the guy will fight with AV for a starting spot and the loser becomes the swing T, not bad at all. Good bye Mr Okung

I believe this ends their FA OT signings. I think they usually only carry 4 OT's.
Very likely to draft 1 though.

I don't know about that. Adams has been hot garbage in Pit since being drafted. Why wouldn't they try to upgrade his spot as well. Now, it's not likely, but not all together out of the question. TBH, I would much rather have Harris in Adams' spot.

The 4th T should come from the draft, with Harris and Gilbertbeing experienced vets. Mike Adams days are over, what a bust.
