Haley midget experiment still not over

I think they would be looking at his return skills,to free up Antonio. As long it was a 7th round pick...I wouldn't care.
 
I'm okay with midget RB's if they have a lot of speed and can return kicks. It's the shorter Db's playing a lot of time lately that irks me.
 
First of all he measured 5'10' and 192 , not exactly a midget like Archer. He is also shift, elusive and quick, something Archer was not. He also produced in a major conference and was great at KO and punt returning something Archer had never done and yet Tomlin stupidly assumed he could be a punt returner. Lockett with the Seahawks showed how valuable a great punt returner and KO returner can be.

I was just about to make this statement, I'm glad someone said it. Throwing out false weights when they were just measured and weighed at the combine today, and you are about 20 lbs off, such indicates someone pushing their own view without the factual context to back it up, nope nope just throw out numbers that aren't real.

He played at 170. And Dri did field kick returns. Steelers interviewing a midget back and you think it will only be for returns? Did you just start following the Steelers and Haley this year?

Still 7 lbs off (college Ht/Wt measurements are never reliable anyways), and are we not talking about him currently in the present or can we all bring up past numbers and pretend they represent the present?

No,no and hell no. Please stay away from these type of players. They just do not work out for this football team. I hate that we wasted a 3'rd round pick on ******* Dre Archer. He contributed zero in his time with the Steelers. I don't even want these midgets in the 7'th round.
 
VERY LATE round , or better yet, walk on free agent. See if he has anything and if NOT, cut him. BEST Scenario. Don't waste a roster spot unless he has a contributing role to play.

I did like Stefan Logans determination during his season here. Not all midget players are that bad
 
Willie parker still holds the record for the longest run from scrimmage for a touchdown in a super bowl. If he's another fast Willie, I'll take it. If he's another archer, run far far away.

Archer did not return punts that was my point. he is five foot ten inches that is not a midget by any stretch but]it appears you know nothing about football as evidenced by your stupidity and braggadocia in the pre Super Bowl threads.

lets ignore that a player can gain weight from his playing weight and maintain it seeing how their body's are still developing andddddddddddddddd the NFL is a full time job now mixed in with a full time exposure to supplements...

those who have problems maintaining weight show up around the same weight and or less weight......


it doesn't appear this is the case with this prospect

but by all means still continue coming across condescending with the persona that you know your football better than everyone else
