I didn't know this was his final year on his contract. if that is true, then he is as good as gone. Ben will finish out his contract an Ben(I mean) Randy will be the OC.

Ben will be allowed to do what he wants and this team will go nowhere. Haley has been on him consistently, that's why you are seeing all the passing to the tight ends and Bell.
Tomlin will babble some ridiculous nonsense at each PC, and the status quo...will be the status quo. Might as well bring in a vet system QB at that point.

I agree, Haley would be between a rock and a hard place without Tomlin, drifting down river with no paddle.
I'm not a huge Haley fan but you can't argue w 13-3 and a first round bye. Haley was as much part of that as anyone else. Diss him if you will, but we have the #1 ranked reciever and #1 ranked running back in this Haley led offense with Ben not far behind. I think being Steelers OC and being hated in the Burgh goes hand in hand, simply part of the job.
If Haley bails, the next great Steelers offensive coordinator is out there somewhere. I'll burn a candle that Tomlin will find a guy we can all find agreeable.
Gailey and Erhardt were solid as were Whisenhunt & Mularkey. The rest, meh.... Gilbride, Sherman, Arians....
Todd Haley seems somewhere in the middle between those guys. One thing for sure, none of those other OC's had the kind of firepower Haley has at his disposal. So it is fair to hold Haley to a higher standard. Hope he pulls through these next few weeks so we all have good reason to bump him up a notch.

I'd wager it's more likely Ben is gone next year than Haley unless Todd is offered a HC job somewhere else. If we are fortunate enough to win it all I definitely don't think Ben will be back.
