Vikings just released him after picking up Wallace. With two lower end vets out the door he could be decent depth.

def would be an upgrade to lance moore

59 receptions 742 yards 6 TDs last year

might be a little unfair to compare him to Moore

I think he would be a serviceable option for a year or two

Do you really think that he's going to get that many looks/touches in our system??? Probably not - hence my comment of keeping Moore since he "knows" the system already...

We don't need a #4 WR who wants the ball. That will just create a bad situation in the locker room because the #4 WR is not going to be targeted more than once every couple games. Let's just get a couple young guys who can play special teams.

He'll probably sign with the Pats and put up 1100 yards and 10 TDs.

Nah, need someone to be a capable KR/PR as well or willing to play on special, teams. Now, if an unforeseen injury to one of our top 3 happens, sure, why not, but as of now...no

I would take him over DHB any day, at least Greg can catch

If you want a guy that can KR/PR and play some WR in 4 wide sets, you sign a guy like Ted Ginn...

no thanks......

Sign him for the vet minimum........................

We have been doing rather well picking wide outs that can contribute in the 3rd or later rounds. I would rather they spend their top picks on defense unless some once a decade talent is there or a big upgrade over what we have. We could likely get a 4th wide out from our practice squad or even the fifth or later rounds. We need OLB, Safety, CB twice. If we could find players to fit one of those positions in each of the first four rounds that are likely quality starters (we already have some of the others) for at least two of the four and possible starters for the other two this would be a great draft.

DHB was kept mostly for his role on special teams....

I remember they had the hands team on the field and DHB was on it and I almost spit beer clear across the room on the TV. I think the thing that got me was the announcer commenting that the hands team was on the field.
