I really hope the kid gets healthy enough to suit up at least once before the regular season starts...just for his own sake if nothing else. Haven't heard any updates on him lately.

I would throw him on injured reserve again, but I think this time the axe gets swung.

Maybe...if the front office still thinks he has the talent his contract is peanuts. ...throw him IR and bring him next season and give him another go. It sucked the first year he got hurt. Couldn't believe it the second year. Could give a **** this year....so the axe just might be getting sharpened as I type this.
 
Pup him if he's not ready for the season. You have got to find a way to see what he is all about
 
As a 2nd round pick, it should be a no-brainer to hold on to him ....BUT....right now there is a talent logjam a CB and he could get washed out of the mix very easily. I feel for the kid and hope he can play this week or that may be the end of his time 'round the 'Burgh.
 
This is going on what 4 weeks. I get it. A hammy is not easy, but at some point its just gotta be embarrassing. I'd either just sack it up and go or fold the tent and go home. I couldnt look at my teamates every day like this. Like ****.
 
Feel sorry for him, how frustrated could he be? Probably got his life wish, drafted to play in the nfl and in the second round, no less, for a perennial playoff team just to see your career continuously screwed up by injuries to the point that you never step on to the field for even a pre-season game?

The kid will need all the therapy he can afford , at least he got a very nice rookie contract out of it, compared to a regular life job that's a fortune.
 
We need all the talent we can get at CB. Nobody is cutting it right now to the point we are making trades for nobodies. Give him every chance

The irony is, the "nobodies" can make it through an NFL practice.

I dont think they will cut him yet. But ask yourself how on earth they can put him on the 53. This is three friggen years. And Im not talking about Spence who had a devestating knee injury that everyone knew wasnt doing to be fixed in a year. Im talking about three injuries. You see how guys like AB cut on their legs. How much power happens there. This guy isnt cut out for pro football sorry. Maybe its his training. Maybe its luck. Maybe he has blood coming from you know, from his eyes. But it just dont matter. And I know Keith Butler concers because he said so. Like two friggen weeks ago.
 
The way we're signing trash corners, Golson may be our only hope!
