Growing up in the 70's, I was a obviously a huge Steeler fan, but my older brother somehow was and still is a diehard Raiders fan. My dad did his best to bring him back into the fold, but he said my bother was maybe 3 or 4 years old and he like the "pirate face" on the Raiders helmets and somehow, something as silly as that made him grow up a Raider fan. Some of my fondest memories are of me and him nearly coming to blows everytime they played each other... which usually was in the AFC Championship. My mother, God rest her soul, decided to become a Raider fan to balance out the house ( she really didn't give two ***** about football). I would decorate the TV room with my Steeler stuff and he with his Raiders stuff a few hours before the game. I remember I would tease him that Stabler was gay because he had kind of a soft way of speaking (you could do with that back then ) and he would fire back about Bradshaw being a dumb hick ( you can still do that). Congrats Kenny... too bad the morons couldn't have put you in sooner so that you could have enjoyed it while you were still here.... R.I.P.

Kind of sad it took him dying to get in; had he not passed he still wouldn't have made it this year. I remember watching a Monday Night game where he came back after being down like 20-some points. Kenny could play.
