Jordan Todman (5-feet 10-inches, 198-pounds) is a 4-year veteran out of Connecticut, and was a 6th round draft choice by the San Diego Chargers in 2011. Todman has primarily played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but also spent time with the Minnesota Vikings and most recently the Panthers before signing with the Steelers Sunday. Todman is a versatile running back who can run between the tackles, catch the ball out of the backfield and also has NFL experience returning kickoffs.

Todman very well might have won his current job with the Steelers in his performance against the team last Thursday at Heinz Field when he ran for 70-yards on just 5 carries, one of them being a 49-yard touchdown.

Also a good read, some film room study of Todman, looks to be a great pickup.

This is actually an interesting pick up. Todman can run, catch out of the backfield and block in pass protection. When Bell comes back and if Archer hasn't truly shown something, Archer may get bounced and they keep Todman - even more so if Todman can return kicks.

Just read the article posted above and Todman has a 25+ average on KO returns. Buh-bye, Archer! I can count on one hand the number of times Archer has even gotten past the 25.

We shall see, but early indication suggests this kid could be a long term keeper as back up to Bell once DW is done.

Well the guy has already been with a few teams that had no problem letting him walk, so I wouldn't expect the second coming of Adrian Peterson.

Still wish they would've given Raheem Mostert a look. Maybe they can sign him off Philly's practice squad?

excellent pick up, Dri better get his **** together and show something or he's gone

Im sure once he proves himself as a returner and solid backup they will cut him either because 1) they like archer's pedigree more, 2) he would make a great practice squad player, or 3) _________ from the __________ was released and they REALLY REALLY LIKED HIM in the _______ draft.

I think his playing weight has been a factor. 198lbs isn't exactly NFL running back weight. I'm sure he will bulk up. Our beloved Steelers have not been the best out of developing talent recently. Fingers crossed

Fitzgerald Toussaint signed to the Steelers

A dark horse candidate to make the Ravens 53 man roster, or a possibility at the practice squad for Baltimore has not happened for the undrafted runningback, Fitzgerald Toussaint. The former starting Michigan Wolverine tailback has officially signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad.
