This team just refuses to win close games. And holy **** I've never seen a roughing the passer call that bad in my life. Literally decided the game. And Tomlin really not taking the ball in overtime? I don't care if the defense just happened to do their job that time (unlike most other times), that decision was INEXCUSABLE. The way this team loses games and rips defeat from the jaws of victory IN A DIVISIONAL GAME is INEXCUSABLE. This team should be relegated to the god damn XFL they are an embarrassment.

oh ****...they were playing with a rookie undrafted free agent at qb and yeah the decision to give them the ball in OT was ******* idiotic but the defense did play well after the first quarter. JuJu needs to ******* protect the ball better and this is different ending

1-4, embrace the suck

This team has some problems, but one constant problem remains.

It was another embarrassing performance by Tomlin. He cost his team an extra play in the redzone by not calling a time out soon enough just before the half ended. Then he ices his own kicker by calling a time out! The trifecta happened when he opted not to take the football after winning the coin toss in overtime.

Clean house play for next year

New coaching staff all the way around
Trade Hargrave get the most out of him now
Play UG3 in the rotation
Cut Switzer he offers nothing

the defense did play well after the first quarter.

Surprising since they were on the field the whole goddamned 1st quarter due to the inept offense and that joke of a play when Samuels threw the pick.....

Anyone else besides me figure they would run out of gas at the end when it counted?

And they did.

Yep. This one is on Tomlin. Ya’ll need to come up with fresh material. [emoji849]

Actually he explained why he chose to defer. Agree with it or not, he had a rationale, and it worked. It’s not like we had any sustained drives in this game - not scrim the shadow of our own goal posts. Defense played fairy well after first quarter.

A fumble in OT is the worst

To me there in nothing worse than a fumble in OT. I feel like they owe every fan 3+ hours of their life back. How is it possible that Tomlin doesn't have the receivers prepared for that. If there is 1 thing you never allow it's a fumble in OT. It's like all the work every player just put in these last few hours was for nothing because you just allowed the Ravens to simply take the ball from you. I'm sorry I dont want to be the guy screaming for the coach's head because were losing but to lose like this. When even our 2019 undrafted qb thats never once thrown a football in the nfl puts you in position to win but you lose because the coach didn't fully prepare his ball handlers over fumbling in OT.. that's insane! Yes I'm pissed off!

And they did.

Defense actually had a good series when they almost got the safety. Then they had another good series, until the BS roughing the passer call. Even then, they held them to a long field goal. In Ot, they made another stop. Tell me where they ran out of gas.

It was absolutely the right call to kick. For once Tomlin made the right call. It worked perfectly. Until we fumbled and that is not on Tomlin. The stupid first quarter calls are on the coaching staff. Take away that stupid int and we probably win this game with the way the defense played. Offense and play calling was the issue not the overtime call.

This loss is on Juju.. second year in a row he puts the nail in our season. Humphries clearly saw in film study that juju tries to stiff arm everyone so he was punching at the ball every time Juju caught it. Smart play. Juju will practice more video game dances for next game at least.

All phases contributed to the loss. Coaching early, sloppy O, D roller coasting between good and bad. And a horrible ref call with the game on the line. Last one isn't the reason for the loss. But yeah all contributed.

So let me get this straight you are blaming the coach for JuJu fumbling?? So Tomlin telling JuJu not to fumble would of prevented it?

Stand back, have a beer, try to chill for a second and then analyze the game again, no one can blame the D for today's loss. The guys played a heck of a game, it's being a long time since I see this level of play on D against a dangerous offense.

What happened to Rudolph was terrible, yet the D holds on and the rookie undrafted QB plus the RBs make a game out of it just to lose because of a fumble from your best weapon on offense when the team was getting into FG territory for the win.

It's a crushing, mental draining loss. Don't know how they are gonna react after today, the wind was just taken off the sail and critical injuries keep piling up.

Try to rest guys, enjoy your families , salute the Nation.

Dumb ***, if they won the game you still would have griped. The one constant here is your agenda.

BTW your trifecta? A time out after an incompletion? How is that allowing a extra down? Icing a kicker? Boz made it so it isn’t icing idiot. As explained on the telecast and it worked as planned. Give his defense the opportunity to stop the opponent and give his rookie backup QB an opportunity to get in field goal on the closed end to win the game.

Only three things I see......A. Al Riveron must use a magic eight ball to decide replays. There is no logic. B. 30+ penalties called by Coleman’s crew. Some were phantoms calls, on both sides. The RTP on Adeyni is inexcusable. He wrapped up Jackson around the thighs. C. This defense is coming together nicely....Williams>Barron IMO.
