Given a chance Bell might be a player some day

If not for charity, the bills would not have been in the game at all

Not sure what it is about obvious pass downs that makes it so difficult for the Steelers defense to cover

other than the 4th quarter the defense was solid

Keep watching that kid Bell..I tell you he will be good someday

* Bell was monster today.
* Burns is steady improving.
* Ben wasn't his best today, always next week.
* Davis is steady improving, that one TD given up? perhaps that was a difficult assignment for a S..
* As of right now Steelers are in the drivers seat.

You didn't mention ****

Shazier had a great game also. Dupree had a few sacks.

This TEAM is coming together at JUST the right time. Pretty solid. The picks could partially be contributed to weather but in the end they didn't cost the game. We won an AWAY GAME and we controlled that game for the most part. On to next week.............Oh and by the way, keep an eye on that Bell kid, he is going to be good someday.

Salute the nation

Roosevelt ******* Nix! Go Snowplow!!! nuf said...

Projected Coaches thread of the week:
Really great to see Dupree get 2 sacks and solidify himself as a great pass rusher (no mention of Davis and his 1.5 sacks...)

Last year about this time I received my first ban. It was for calling some faithful SN folks bad names for not believing. We pulled it together, mostly on def and I see it again. I won't go for another ban, but keep pushing that needle (or ****) up. Let's ******* go!

The Bills looked like they never played in snow and cold before.
From the confines of his room at the Gray Bar Hotel, O.J. Simpson says they're wusses.

thing is Bills early targeted **** hoping he would be stiff in coverage, but much to their dismay **** was in the right position more often than not. I call that headsy play.

:sick:

Get Ben's game on the road fixed for ***** sake.

Mostly a great game for defense. Bell great obviously. You have to win a game like this when your QB is bad and he was terrible today. Pat's win like two or three a year.

I thought the Bills targeted **** thinking he would be soft in coverage. But, to their dismay, and Butler's pleasure, **** was hard and tight with his coverage for most of the day. The Bills also thought that because of the slippery, wet conditions, their receivers could blow past ****. However, **** was able to get proper traction and the better friction helped him control his depth of play and angles of attack.

*The secondary is looking promising. No one thought both Burns and Davis would be this far along at this point in their rookie seasons They're making mistakes, but they're both playing regularly and do not looked overwhelmed out there. It's great to see. Cockrell may be the most underrated CB in the league. He isn't the fastest or most physical, but he just gets the job done. If Dupree can emerge as a consistent pass rusher, the Steelers are going to be a force in the league for the next 2-3 years.

*Ben played like microwaved dogshit today. The Steelers seriously need to look into what's going on with him during road games this season. The disparity between his home and road performance is becoming too great to ignore at this point.

*Leveon Bell: what else can really be said about the guy? He's probably the best back the league has seen since Marshall Faulk, as neither Ladainian Tomlinson or Adrian Peterson possessed Bell's combination of rushing and receiving skills. The kid just needs to stay healthy and off the drugs, as he may very well have a HOF career in front of him.

Every INT, Ben's throw was weak. I'm hoping it was the weather. Thank goodness for the OL, Bell and our D to keep the Bills in check most of the game.

Bell became just the fifth player in NFL history with 30 games of 100-plus yards from scrimmage over his first 45 appearances, joining a group that includes Edgerrin James, Eric Dickerson, Marcus Allen and Arian Foster

Give Nix a game ball. Made two outstanding plays on special teams and had some outstanding blocks at key runs.

Well that goes to Bell but Nix had a solid game yes....

the first two could have been the receivers, the last reminded-me of the SB vs, Seattle. give it some uuuummmph Ben!

This....James was wide open...Ben just didn't put enough on it.

Seemed like on a couple of them, he was trying too hard to make a "touch" or "soft" pass when if he'd have put a lil heat on it, the result would have been a completion.

I certainly don't disagree with you, that's why I said they were weak throws. The one to JJ was a SIX if he didn't float it. Those three plays is what kept the game somewhat interesting, from a Bills fan perspective.
