Game Balls, Game Goats & FU's............Week 9..........vs Colts.....

Carolina won too, doesn't mean I would stop complaining and expecting a better product for the fan base.

Game balls:
-Tomlin-for playing more aggressive, he talked about having to score TDs to win (a few years late to this philosophy) and backed it up with play calls.
Tomlin didn't play it aggressively at the end of the first half; he totally played for a field goal, not a TD.

The Steelers got the ball with 3:19 left on their own 18, ran it twice for 10 yards down to the 2-minute warning, got 16 yards on a short pass to Gainwell out to the 44, and didn't run another play for almost 40 seconds. Ran it again for 3 yards, got a gift 15-yard personal foul penalty to set them up 1st-and-10 on the Colts' 30 with almost a minute left, threw an incompletion, gained 6 yards on an in-bounds pass to Jonnu Smith, and then they just let another THIRTY-ONE seconds tick off the clock despite having two timeouts left. Of course, they eventually are forced to kick a chipshot FG from the 7 on third down as Tomlin takes his last timeout with him into the locker room.

Sacrificing a potential 4 points in a close game is not aggressive football. Luckily, Indianapolis kept giving the ball back to the Steelers again and again on turnovers. Games won't play out that way the vast majority of the time.

Two fourth down attempts including trying to go for the TD off the fumbled punt. The time management at the end of the half was atrocious.
