Alright it feels great to get another one in the win column and see our Steelers goto 4-1 on this season. This one had letdown written all over it early as I watched our Steelers defense spin our wheels vs a offense led by Ryan Fitzpatrick and only to see our best defensive player Cameron Heyward but our Steelers persevered with young guys stepping up again in Ricardo Matthews for Heyward and Chris Hubbard filling in for Marcus Gilbert and once again Vince Williams filling in for Ryan Shazier. Only one penalty on the Steelers this game and that was a holding penalty in the first quarter!

Game Balls:
Sammie Coates - I'll admit halfway through this game I was ready to give him a Game Goat Ball but after four dropped balls he picked it back up to finish with 6 catches for 139 yds and 2 TD's. If he can repeatedly step up like this it should take some of the double teams off AB.
Ben Roethliisberger - 4 TD's 380 yds throwing just another day at the office for this future HoF'er. Great game Ben!
LeVeon Bell - 154 all purpose yards! Great game plan putting him in the slot. Created matchup problems all day for Jets D!
Steelers O-line - Great job of keeping the franchise upright against one of the best front 7 in all of football
Anthony Chickillo - This kid's play was limited but I liked what I saw from him. Hopefully we'll see more of him in the near future
Vince Williams - He might not be explosive in many ways but he's funamentally one of the most technically sound defenders on our roster

Game Goats:
None

FU's:
CBS Network - **** YOU for switching the end of the game to the ******* CHEATRIOTS so they could all ball gurgle Tom Brady at the end of their game! WHO GIVES A ****! I HOPE DEEBO KILLS HIM IN TWO WEEKS!

Coates got his mind right after a few dropped balls.
Bell turned in another great game. Definitely a difference between him and D Will
Jessie James. Picking it up week by week
Chick and Uncle Jarvis had noticeable pressure

**** yes, Debo smashing t*mmy b*y to a pulp.

Salute the nation

The O-line was sick today and Berry just keeps on killing it as well.

Here's to old man Jarvis. Played damn well for a POS Lb that knows he is cut next year. Good job.

It's going to suck. I want to watch the ESPN and other networks given a solid win, but I envision an all week Tom **** slurp fest.

Thanks to Sammie Coates who decided to stop body catching and used his hands in the second half. His second TD was no question the way he wrapped his big hands around that ball. Great job bro!!

The reason for the drops?

#Steelers WR Sammie Coates cut his hand. He got stitches at the half and while he didn't blame them for his drops, said his hand was numb.

Props to Sean Davis. Great play on the ball. I was told he was unable to defend balls in the air...

Had a nice tackle or two today too.

Pittsburgh Steelers tackle Chris Hubbard made his first career start Sunday in the team’s home win over the New York Jets and on the surface it appears as though the former undrafted free agent out of the University of Alabama-Birmingham represented himself well.

According to the early grading by Pro Football Focus, Hubbard was the Steelers highest graded offensive lineman in their win over the Jets.

Hubbard was forced into the starting lineup Sunday due to starting right tackle Marcus Gilbert missing the game against the Jets with an ankle injury and his backup, Ryan Harris, needing to be placed on the Injured/Reserve Saturday due to a leg hematoma that he suffered last Sunday night.

While Steelers starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was sacked once Sunday against the Jets, that was mainly a result of him holding the football for an extended amount of time. As a whole, the Steelers offensive line protected Roethlisberger fairly well throughout the game and the quarterback threw for 380 yards and 4 touchdowns as a result.

Hubbard appeared to be comfortable at right tackle in his first start and depending on the health of Gilbert this coming week, he might be asked to start again in Week 6 when the Steelers go on the road to play the Miami Dolphins.

Up until Sunday, Hubbard had only played sparingly since entering the league in 2013. Most of his snaps have come as an extra tight end the last few seasons. Hubbard had played all of 40 snaps on offense during his career entering Sunday’s game.

We will have a full breakdown of Hubbard’s first career start later on in the week so stay tuned for that.

To think Coates could have had 4 TD's today

Hubbard was fantastic! And I was sure he would get eaten alive by the Jets Dline. Outstanding job young man!

Hero: Ben. NFL MVP.

Goat:Not that it matters, but the coaching was the goat. The field goal attempt when the game was close and we could have extended our lead was stupid. Oh sure, Berry is going to our run the defense.

And Haley's call on 3rd and 15, running git up the middle?

Props and shout outs, Chickillo, a sack and forced fumble. Jones for playing his best game, perhaps ever. Hubbard for holding his own
Such things are quickly forgotten when you win.

I assume you mean the fake field goal attempt....do you watch the games at all?

Yes, fake FG, with Berry running it. Stupid call, don't you agree.?

PS: Sorry about Houston. I think their chances would have been next to nothing in the playoffs, but it would have been a nice story.

What a dick.. no need to mention Houston. Probably didn't see that game either.
