Well I'll be the first to say it.....THANK GOD THIS WAS THE DOLPHINS! I'll give credit where credit is due to Mason Rudolph for shaking off the rust & cobwebs early....he looked pathetic in the first two quarters...throwing off his back foot and throwing way behind his WR's. He's looked abysmal and at one point I was thinking get The Duck warmed up! He turned it around after that and led us to victory (CONGRATS - BLITZ....You called it!) with some nice throws down the field. Also a big coming out party for James Conner 145 yds rushing against the worst run D in the NFL. I hope his AC injury as per Tomlin post game is nothing serious....we are suddenly very thin at RB.....Samuels and Snell both OUT. Congratulations are in order for our Steelers....this was their 18th straight HOME win on MNF. I might complain about our Steelers play-calling or Defense at times but how ******* St00pid were the Phins to go All-Out Blitz on 3rd & 20 with under 1 minute to go before halftime? It really changed the momentum in this game and the Steelers never looked back. I still feel guys like Ryan Switzer, Johnny Holton & Donte Moncrief offer nothing beneficial to this team....I'm really wondering why they are even on the roster. They are complete TRASH! Considering how this season started at 0-3 our Steelers now have a chance to pull to .500 when the Colts come to town next week. Could be a close game.......I give our Steelers a punchers chance next week vs Indy in the efforts to keep our slim playoffs hopes alive. Let's enjoy this one for the next 24 hours as we prepare to play the Colts.

Tomlin Post Game:
Ramon Foster - Concussion and he's in the protocol
Benny Snell - Knee injury being evaluated
James Conner - Tomlin reported it as an AC injury.....ESPN reported it as a Clavicle....per ESPN....will probably know more tomorrow
Maurkice Pouncey - Calf Injury but was able to return

Game Balls:
James Conner - Great effort tonight....23 carries 145 yds rushing....hope his AC injury isn't too serious....we are suddenly very thin at RB with Samuels & Snell OUT
Mason Rudolph - Tonight couldn't have started any worse for him. I'll give him credit for the comeback tonight...made some nice throws downfield in the 2nd half tonight. 20 for 36 251 yds 2 TD's. I think he grew up a little tonight
Dionte Johnson - Rookie has shown steady improvement all season long...tonight was his best game 5 rec 84 yds 1 TD
JuJu Smith-Schuster - Made a nice TD catch from Rudolph on a ball that should have been an INT....as the DB had both hands on it but Juju ripped it away for the TD. Congrats to Juju on his 12th 100+ yd game before turning 23. Breaking Randy Moss's record.
Minkah Fitzpatrick - 2 INT's & 2 PBU's tonight vs his old team....I'm sure glad this kid landed on the Steelers....No Regrets giving the Phins our #1 pick next season for him.....He's a STUD!
TJ Watt - This guy is getting double teamed everytime he rushes the QB.....and he's still getting to the QB. 2 sacks and 2 Forced Fumbles tonight and one Fumble Recovery! INCREDIBLE!
Cameron Heyward - The emotional leader on the Defense rallied the troops to shut the Phins down after spotting them 14 points. Good pressure tonight....almost had an INT when Fitz threw it to him but he couldn't pull it down.
Coach Tomlin - Congratulations on finally winning a Friggin Challenge.....0 for 11....since 2017.....FINALLY WIN A CHALLENGE!

Game Goats:
I going toss our a few names here not really Goats but on that 2nd TD pass by Fitzpatrick....missed tackles by Devin Bush, Mark Barron, Steve Nelson & Terrell Edmunds.....Cmon guys gotta tackle better in situational football!

FU's:
FU----Johnny Holton, Ryan Switzer, Donte Moncrief - WTF are these 3 bums even on this roster? They offer nothing beneficial to this team and collectively they've done nothing all season to warrant their roster spot on this football team! PLEASE REPLACE THEM TOMLIN! You should have done this during the BYE week. THEY SUCK!

Switz gives them good hands when often a fair catch will be needed. Obviously you would, I would, SteelerNation would like more.

The all out blitz in that situation? I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I told my son "surely they're going to back out of this" NOPE! ...and James Washington's block at the end was worthy of a Hines A-Ward.

Tomlin should have had 2 challenge wins. The BS offensive PI on Johnson in the 2nd quarter was ridiculous. But, the league has put teams on notice, they will not overturn a PI called on the field. The stats on that one don't lie. But, what pissed me off even more was on the next play, there was OBVIOUS PI on the defense and no call. The dude had 2 hands on our guy and was pushing him toward the sideline while the ball was in the air and right in front of the ref. ******* nothing.

Week in and week out, the refs show why they don't deserve a paycheck or should be fined for poor performance.

They should have destroyed this team and never been down 14-0. Thats the widest margin the Dolphins have had since game 9 of the 2018 season. Yeah, yeah, I know, they won but they won't win many more playing like that. The Dolphins flat out have guys that shouldn't be starting and barely on a roster but presented a challenge for most of that game and led by a bum at QB.

The team once again didn't execute well on both sides of the ball in the first half, were not prepared, seemed flat and uninterested, and flat out got outplayed for most of the first half. Yes you can blame some of it on Mason's play but the OL looked slow and old, the receivers not getting separation, the middle of the field on defense left wide open, poor tackling, and guys guys out of position in the defensive backfiled. Yeah, that was a horrible first half, but will give them credit for adjusting in the second half especially Fitchner moving JuJu around allowing him different match ups but what the hell takes so long to make these adjustments in games?

27 points shutting out Dolphins in second half with out future Hall of Famer Tuzar Skipper!!! gotta give some love to our defensive coord.

The TONE is set well before the game starts, fortunately these players, as MEN over came that tone.

Salute the nation

We made progress on offense, seemingly in real-time as we watched. That's all I wanted to see - plus a W. I should have known not to expect that progress out of the gate, since we only had two weeks to prepare for the worst team in football.

Game balls go to:
- James Conner who amassed a shitload of yards and a hard run TD, the guy is a broken tackle machine. Hopefully his injury won't sideline him more than a couple of games or we are toast.

- Juju made some great contested catches, he was a true #1 WR today.

- DJ has great acceleration doesn't he? Hitting him in slants could create very explosive plays. Also did you see the one handed catch on the bullshit PI play? I know we don't like him now but didn't it remind you of a young Antonio Brown?

- TJ Watt, what a disrupter! The Demolition Man.

Game goats:
- Rudolph shouldn't be here because he comes from a serious injury but he was a case of Jekyll and Hyde last night.

- Mark Barron is a non factor in general but his ****** tackle on the 2nd TD was an insult to us fans. In the same play Hilton went for the strip and missed while Nelson patted the wr. Maybe he was looking for a concealed weapon? Terrible D play as a whole there

- Berry's punts sucked last night

**** you to the injury bug, enough is enough.

TJ’s sack, strip recovery play was pretty amazing.
Phins or not that’s not seen too often.

It was an ugly start, but the guys rallied.
Game balls to everyone for overcoming a shaky start. The fans were pretty pissed off that 1st half lol. That could break a youngins confidence.

Regarding Offensive play calling: 1st down always was 2 TEs, FB, RB + Holton. Really? Holton? Everyone knew we were running, this won't fly against better run Ds

Bush didn't wrap up before Barron even touched him. Not sure how you goat Barron,Hilton and Nelson and not Bush who could have made the tackle to start with.

BTW that's going to be one of the problems with this defense. They are all going for the strip and they aren't wrapping up. They are enamored now with turnovers.

Have to watch it again regarding Bush.

Agree on the strip crap. First contact always have to be a tackle, especially when the carrier hasn't got the 1st down yet, Stop the play first, the 2nd and 3rd tackler can go for the strip but not the first

I didn't think Barron was going to play. When I saw him in there, I started focusing on him. I only paid attention in the 1st half and he was still bad - not as bad as his 1st two games of the season but still bad. He had coverage on a TE and started slow as usual and gave the TE a 2 yard cushion as he ran straight across the field. If Fitzpatrick was looking his way, it would have been an easy completion. Just not happy with the dude at all. I live the energy Vince brings. He is great against the run and a very good pass rusher. I still think the combination of he and Bush make the best inside tandem we have with Watt and Bud on the outside. And, Bud is going to get paid by someone this offseason. I just can't see it being us. This is by far his best year.

I mean defense is dead in the nfl... go for the turnovers all the time i guess... I actually don’t have an issue with hyper aggressive D... just wrapping them up and playing it safe leads to teams nickle and diming you down the field... you cannot punish a team into bad plays anymore, so just try to force turnovers a metric ton and make teams nervous that way...

Already the secondary playing the ball rather than trying to slobber knocker guys or play ultra safe and only focus on the tackle has paid dividends for us...

No game ball for Rudolph. We saw more of him this week and it shows he has problems going through his progressions. This is a QB for now who needs to drop and throw. When he drops and thinks he stinks. So many times he had Conner open as a check down receiver and he threw ****** balls. I hope the coaches see this and work on it with him. It was crystal clear to us watching that the quick throws for Rudolph need to continue until he learns how to dissect a defense better.

This defense is world class. 19 turnovers in 7 games, 6 if you take away the first game where we got torched is really impressive. Now if we can just get the offense going.

The injuries are going to continue eating us up as we can't afford to lose anyone.

Amazing what a better free safety and corner can do for a defense.

Steelers coming off bye, and Rudolph coming off 3-week layoff, looked like they had not played in a long time. Because THEY HADN'T. After the first quarter, here are the stats:

Dolphins: 129 yards, 0 points, 4 turnovers, 4 sacks allowed
Steelers: 351 yards, 27 points, 0 turnovers, 1 sack allowed

Yes, it's Miami. Miami, which rung up 381 yards and 21 points on a solid Bills defense the week prior and which was not coming off a bye, and which did not have a QB overcoming a concussion from a filthy cheap shot (@#$% Earl Thomas) and thereby coming off a 3-week absence.

The only goat was Tomlin once more not having team ready to play after a bye and that look on sidelines tells the complete story of what the team is doing. Tomlin is great for his pressers and his speeches but then comes the play on the field. was a nice come back and once we scored the TD both sides of the ball played well

Look, I am not a Tomlin apologist. Let's get that straight. However, for the love of God, can we keep this year in perspective?? Our HOF QB goes out week 2. The Steelers are 3-4, but with three incredibly close losses, one against the Rats that should have been a victory WITH THE 3rd STRING QB IN THE GAME!!

Another was a road win against the Chargers, with their starting QB in the line-up and with the Steelers playing A FIRST YEAR UNDRAFTED FA AT QB, THEIR 3rd STRING GUY.

Juju's fumble still hurts. Without that, the Steelers beat the dirty scumbag Rats and are in first @#$%ing place without one of the best QB's in the game and WITHOUT THE ******* BACKUP for 1 1/2 games.

If Belichick lost Brady, then lost whoever, and went 3-4, the media would be slurping his baby batter. So maybe we chill on how ****** the Steelers are and how they traded a top 10 pick for Minkah.

They are one Juju fumble from being in FIRST @#$%ING PLACE.

He gets graded this year no different than any other year. They have a second year QB with a 1st round grade> Brady has went down as well as Brees and they still managed to win.

Year is incomplete so out of fairness I don't grade until it is.

But no free passes with Ben going down....

The fact that it was inconsequential doesn’t make taking a delay of game penalty when you’re six feet from the endzone any more excusable. How do you let that happen?

And then Booger McFarland went on to talk about how Mike Tomlin is one of the best coaches in the league. Seriously, after that inexcusable **** you're actually saying that?
