Game Balls, Game Goats & FU's.................vs Clowns

I know it was mentioned but the Safety Free Kick?
WTF, who's coaching special teams fer crissakes??

It’s the NFL, I think they’re past teaching players the basic rules of the game.

I concur with most everyone here and add emphasis

Big Al- controlled Miles Garrett - The Ol was great from the 2nd Otr on
Bud- yes Desmond Harrison is terrible but it took Bud playing fast and focused to make him look so bad

#30- another amazing performance- kid gets stronger in the 4th quarter- what a beast!!!!

Well, i guess i should temper my enthusiasm for Bud. The prior 3 games Mayfield had been sacked 5 times each. Bud was in the backfield all game long, though, so, maybe Mayfield just got tired of being hit.

Yes and no.

Is he that stud you would like a first rounder to develop into? One that dropped in the draft but supposedly had attractive raw skills? no

Is he a game changer? no for the majority of time but you can sprinkle in sometimes yes

Is he a weakness? sometimes against the run, yes

Is he having a decent year? yes

Somewhere in-between solid and meh. But a improvement over last year. So perhaps he hasn't reached his ceiling yet.

We'll see.

One thing we can say is he is way ahead of Jarvis.

I'm still holding out hope for Bud. Just from the eyeball test, he is reacting faster and looking like an NFL starter so I want to see 7-8 sacks by the end of the season.

I keep reminding myself that my favorite player of this generation (Harrison) did not have an 8 sack season until his 5th year in the league.

Maybe because Harrison was on the bench behind Joey Porter perhaps ?

Bud is awful against everyone on the league not named the Browns undrafted free agent LT.

I think he still plays on instinct rather than incorporating things he's been taught. This gets him close on a lot of plays, but nothing to sbow for it.

I think this is what causes him to lose outside containment. He sees the guy with the ball and makes a bee-line towards him without thinking he needs to stay in his spot and let his teammates do their job. However, he is a few years in now and should stop doing that.

He seems not know the definition of containment. He goes AT the ball even whe he should be holding his position to keep the RB inside.

Cardinal sin of a defensive end...

Goat: First quarter and bye week prep

Game Ball: Super Bowl Winning Head Coach Michael Vincent Lombardi Tomlin who actually made adjustments to get us back in the game and get a blowout win.

Dupree still sucks, and still over runs almost every play

Don't kill my buzz man.

I know is late but yesterday I finally watched the redzone channel of sunday game so I could see the highlights of the game. The Int on Ben is half responsable on Feiler, got beat with an inside move that broke his ankles and left the rusher with a free inside run to Ben, who felt the pressure and fired to the inside receiver of a bunch formation. That's the half where Ben is responsable, he should have thrown to the sideline WR, high to make difficult an int.

Fortunately the OLine held the fort for the rest of the game. The sack was obviously in Villanueva, but Conner should have pinched there, he stayed looking for inside pressure that never was

It’s been shown “and reported” Garrett’s sack was because Foster tripped Big Al while he was attempting to engage Garrett. Other than that one sack, Al and DeCastro neutralized him the entire game.
