Is he a big upgrade over Najee? I know he looked amazing against the Steelers, but that is not saying much

I find it odd that Patterson hasn’t been cut.

I get the patience in keeping him though, don’t cut until you actually have his replacement.

I don’t know much about Gains or if Lunar still has a job at the White Castle……

He can play special teams, he has a powerful lower base. Very similar to Warren but Warren has attributes that are attractive. So he can be a change of pace.

For those wondering why Pat is still on the roster the Steelers lost one RB they are waiting to draft one to get rid of Pat. As we know sometimes in the draft you don’t get what you want so they are holding out until they can replace him one way or another.

Chubb has some return to explosion concerns. I think he will but perhaps the Steelers don’t want to gamble.
 
I'd consider the backs we have as part timers. I guess we now run a rb by committee approach. Tomlin liked to run one guy till he broke. Did he change his mind?

Yeah, I think that would definitely set up any QB we have. 2 backs that can catch? heck yeah, let's put a bunch of weapons in front of any QB...the attraction will bring someone not named Rodgers I hope, but if it is him, then he is a guy that can and does spread the ball out.
 
They’re not signing Chubb or Dobbins, this is a deep RB draft. Don’t be surprised if Jeanty or Hampton drops and the Steelers run to the podium.

NO, Coach Tomlin is fully concentrated on signing the aged Roger’s. Once Coach Tomlin gets that done and the clouds part ways to emit the sunshine, he will then focus on which RB to break.

So, all of our RB's have fumbling issues. Should be fun to watch this season.

Patterson is not going anywhere...he is Art Smith's boy.
