I'd rather them go and lose the next 4 Superbowls in a row than to pull that **** again. BIG Al is the man. Bravo!

First off, how can they expect big Al to NOT go out. That would be a slap in the face to all his brothers that he fought with in REAL BATTLE. His Steelers brothers should recognize that and Tomlin should recognize that.

And regarding Tomlin's statement: “Like I said, I was looking for 100 percent participation, we were gonna be respectful of our football team,” Tomlin said. If 100% TEAM participation was required, then WHY WERE YOU OUT ON THE FIELD???? Is the head coach not the leader of the team?

How do you tell everyone that they should fall in line with the way someone else may feel?
It's just dumb and ignorant to the cause at hand. We are fighting for the rights of people to voice their
opinions...INDIVIDUALLY. So, we tell them we have to do what the team decides as a whole.
Shame on Tomlin if that was a mandate. It's one I couldn't have agreed to.

The fact that one of these guys would say that Al shouldn't have done that is completely opposite of
what these players are supposedly fighting for. Each person has an opinion. The man served in
freaking Afghanistan, watching buddies get blown up...for AMERICA. It's incredulous that someone
(yes, even Harrison) to question him. It's embarrassing.

Still the lead story on FoxNews.com, and now our starting LT Ranger Captain has the #1 selling jersey in the NFL.

and I won't forget the men who died that gave that right to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Tomlin and the rest of the coaches were on the field for the anthem. He let it up to the players and this is on them, they chose to do what they did.
