This is great for Haden to be playing as he needs to get the rust off. He also needs to be game tested for the playoffs.

I know he has sported the duece sweats a lot but I also know that when he does play he makes a difference. Hats off to Jesse as he is surpassing what most here thought he could do. One thing is you can't coach speed and that is what we need our tight end to have in order to flourish. OUR glimpses of Green & McDonald show that easily. Off season TE upgrade and NOT a cast off.

Green 6 games (2 starts) 18 rec 304 yds 1 TD
Vance 8 games (6 starts) 9 rec 131 yds 1 TD

McDonald seems to have some interesting tangibles. Suspect hands, took a long time to develop chemistry with Ben and is a band aid. If he could play three or four gamed in a row he might be useful. James is playing well though.

This is a big IF, but if Vance makes it through walk through without getting injured I'd be optimistic. If he gets through an entire game and available next week I'd be amazed. If he makes it through the Texans game they better shelf him vs the Stains so he has a chance to take a playoff snap or 2. Bubble wrap on the way for Christmas Mr. Candleman
