Ok so most of the premium guys are long signed, but a few that have value still linger out there... here are guys that could be problematic in the division

1. Justin Simmons-S ...
why?- because while he is on the decline, he could still solidify that Bengals D... and frankly that D being leaky is what has held that team out of the playoffs ever since their Safties both left in free agency a couple years back.

2. Nick Chubb-RB ...
why? - Chubb is past the prime of a RB and now two years removed from a devastating leg injury... but sometimes in year 2 a guy has a major rebound... id rather that chance happen anywhere else because he is a load if he rebounds...

3a & 3b. JKDobbins & Gus Edwards- RB
Why? - look these two make the list because while both played for the LAChargers last season, both have extensive experience with the Ravens.. Now frankly, Im not sold that the "pushing 32 year old" power back Derrick Henry is gonna make it through the season unscathed... he had 325 carries last season.. thats tge 3rd highest of his career..
so basically if anything happens, I'd rather the RB with ravens experience well be really dry...
(***Now I listed JK on this because he absolutely currently is an ufa, but the Chargers get his exclusive rights once camp starts, so he is not worth a completely individual slot)

4. Mike Hilton-SlotCb
Why? - Hilton is 31, with a bit left in his tank... he knows the division and is a smart vet player.
A team like the Ravens could benefit from that guy... id rather him be ending his career over in the NFC

5. Amari Cooper- Wr
Why?- Cooper is the best wr out there and could help all of the teams ... he is probably better than the soon to be 33 yr old Hopkins right now on the Ravens..

If the Bengals lost any of their wrs, he would be the only available option that might keep that offense afloat
And while he left the Browns in less than ideal fashion, that shitshow may well still try to bring him back

Dude may be the best UFA left.. he is this low on the list simply because other teams are currently more logical fits... but i do hope he ends up elsewhere just in case...

Funny but Khan could use that same list as his shopping list

Simmons, Chubb, Hilton or Cooper could all add some value to the Steelers

I mean beggers shouldnt be choosers... but we wont want a cooper anyways... we want Alan Lazard, who blocks better than he does the wr thing... maybe we can call him Van Lazard if we trade for him🤣
Cooper is an avid chess player, which would be inconsistent with Tomlins aptitude.

get Cooper or Gabe Davis in asap, start working out both and yes having Hilton back in the slow would really help

Kahn's guide is simply who comes cheapest, it's a Rooney thing.

This is idiotic...

A.) player money is separate from organizational money... 55% of revenues is guaranteed to go to players by CBA. Not spending it just rolls it forward into next years cap... you cant pocket player money

B.) the Steelers routinely spend to the cap and even go over and push spent money out to future years

C.) the Steelers have had several recent contracts set the high bar for various positions

There are lots of things to ***** about with this without fictitious narratives

You hate Tomlin, its being reported Tomlin was the driving force behind ejecting him now... there are legit things to complain about down that avenue...

At the moment, these are the only guys we are focusing on. We should be looking at
- WR Gabe Davis is big, decent speed due to an injury, can probably get him on a cheaper base salary and then lace up with incentives
- WR Amari Cooper Proven WR can easily be the 2, esp if Aaron or Kirk are starting, it will be heavy 4 and 5 WR sets
-WR Lazard Cobb probably will be demanded by a rod they be brought. Lazard, at times, could play on the outside while both Austin, Wilson, Miller could push and learn from Cobb
-CB Hilton smart, savvy slot CB, we have tried several since we lost him and haven't replaced him
- S Simmons, smart vet in certain situations, it could allow us to have minkak in the box.

Other options
use a few of the 3rd rnd picks and try getting Deebo or Aiyuk
Adams wont help he's not the same and just to many picks

At this point they should bring in two options as they need to find a way to strengthen the position for the season.

some guys I forgot
K.Allen
D Hop
or if u got A rod and u have Woods trade for hill

As far as the money goes spot on.
It’s not that they don’t spend, frequently they just haven’t been too wise with the allocations.

A look at the way they structure contracts and trying to get the bonus out early but then inflated year 2 or 3 numbers (guys like Larry O, CP, the other Herbig all instantly come to mind)

Then factor in paying a MLB who was just OK the highest FA guaranteed they’ve done AND allocating QB money to a LB that is easily schemed out of impacting games AND a safety who could be a playmaker if not for being so far from the LoS and I simply see a lot of assets being flushed down the toilet.

It’s not that they are being cheap in the spending, they have simply been allocating/managing the budget foolishly.

I hear you to a degree but must emphasize that the COACHING is hugely miss-budgeted in both ability and monetarily. Oh, and Yes one can add in athoritivity as well.

See... two fairly legit criticisms... it isnt that hard🤣

I’m suprised Hilton is available, did he have some down years with the Bungles. He makes a lot sense for depth
