He says “they are going to have to pay the **** out of me to be here next year.”

Isn’t this the same guy who talked about Le’Veon wanting a bunch of money? Strange comment by Foster IMO. Really wish some of these players would shut the hell up when it comes to this stuff.
That being said.. I’d like to be the first to say, thanks Ramon. Good luck with your next team. Finney is arguably better than you right now.

Kaboly was a good writer at DKSports, then went to The Athletic, a clickbait site. Now he’s up to these tricks.

he always seemed like a team guy. hope that doesn't change.

Mediocre player that has been going down hill the last couple of years, Finney is better, cheaper with better agility and mobility

Do you think maybe he is on the brink of retiring and is saying.......If you want me to play next year it's going to take a lot to make that happen.......... One could ONLY hope as I've felt Ramon has been the weak link for a few years now. He won't get paid by the STEELERS as they will go another direction.

They will offer him a decent contract but they aren't going to come close to paying top dollar for him. He is at the end of his career. If his statement is true, he probably won't be here next year and we will be just fine without him.

Why there's always some off field drama with the Steelers? Foster is a team leader, WTF

I’ll be surprised if they offer him anything to come back. Finney is ready to take over that position on a cheap contract.

Foster has been a good player for us. I agree, Finney is ready to take over. Someone will offer Foster more money than he is worth, and then cut him after a year or two. He can then have the standard, one day, come home and retire deal they all end up doing.

If indeed he is serious then this is not the proper time to talk about your next contract. And to start spouting off making threats about paying me to keep me in the middle of the season, after all the distractions this team has had and continues to have, if he’s serious, then this speaks volumes about him.
See ya,don’t let the door hit you in the ***.

Agreed that Finney is ready to take over the position. However, Finney's contract is up this year too. https://overthecap.com/player/b-j-finney/4587
So, realistically, next year Finney is going to get paid a starting Guard's NFL salary. Not as cheap as some might think.

Lol come on. You really think a guy is going to go the "sarcasm" route when speaking of future compensation?

The OL were pretty pissed at Bell, who knows.

Maybe yes maybe no.

Guess we will find out come free agency.

Which is why I said possible not definitely.

hi.

/\ /\ /\ THIS

He was never that good, worked up to decent...if we start paying such average players above average $ it is the end of contending.

Steelers gave big contracts to Pouncey, DeCastro, Villa, and Gilbert. Foster is going to play for a cap friendly deal or he can walk. RG is very replaceable, especially at his skill level.

ABSOLUTeLY right Cope, I've always felt Foster was the weak link in this OL unit. Isn't he a team captain or spokesman for the OL unit........ Well act like a leader and keep that **** in house, regardless of how out of context it is taken. BELL was just a kid when all his poop started but Foster should be mature enough to set an example........
