The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted wide receiver James Washington in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. There was considerable excitement in Pittsburgh about Washington teaming up with his former college teammate, Mason Rudolph, who was selected in the third round of the same draft. Rudolph was drafted to be the backup to Ben Roethlisberger. During Washington's four seasons with the Steelers, Washington caught 114 receptions for 1,629 yards and scored 11 touchdowns.
