Former steeler DE Jeremy Staat is running for Congress in CA. He has some choice words for Kaepernick. Staat was teammates with Pat Tillman at ASU. Like Tillman, Staat wanted to join the military after 9/11, but apparently Tillman advised him to wait until he played long enough to earn retirement benefits. Staat joined the marines a few years later and served in Iraq.
