Charley Casserly knows a thing or two about the NFL. He was the GM of the Redskins, and later the Texans when they came into the league. He broke down Ben Roethlisberger’s interceptions from Sunday on NFLNetwork.

My take on Big Ben's 5 Int's is much different than was preceived by many people. Watch & […]

Well if you look at it that way, none of them were Ben's fault. The one he says WAS Ben's fault, was tipped at the line. NOT Ben's fault there.

Of course it's easy for Jacksonville to say that Ben looked "old, and tired" when they just got the best of him. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, until I see Ben being unable to move out of the pocket, in an affective manner, it's hard for me to that he's physically lost anything. Now, I know that you have to be into it mentally as well, and that's hard for any of us really to say. But physically, I don't see a tired Ben.

This is what's been aggravating for probably three years now: Ben no longer utilizes his pump-fake. At least not like he used to. I'd love to see how many batted footballs at the LOS that he gets, and how he compares across the league, because I'd venture to guess he'd be among the league leaders.

Really? I see a guy who can't shrug off tackles like he used to, seems like he's too slow to even TRY play-action anymore, let alone rolling out. Even his release looks like it takes more effort out of him. None of this surprises me. Dude has been a warrior for 14+ seasons now.

Sure, there have been some moments, but even this past Sunday in the first half, he was able to get out, and move around, or was able to step up in the pocket. Given, not with much success this past Sunday, but I think we all agree that Sunday was a total shot show. What I see is an offensive line that is terribly underperforming, especially with Gilbert out and Hubbard in. Hubbard has been a damn turnstile at tackle, and Gilbert can't get back to the line-up soon enough.

Teams should still fear Ben as he is still playing. Come in and don't show any respect and see him rack em up. He is definately a 14+ year veterain and not on any steroids. Look at that **** stick t*mmy b*y who takes many a different "natural" pills as Hulk Hogan use to take. Imagine Ben's regenerated arm at his age and experience.......... **** it, give t*mmy b*y a call and get his prescription info,,.......

I am 50/50 on Ben moving forward as what to expect.

Interceptions aside his accuracy has been off this year.

Can he rebound? I can't say for sure. Some of his skills are diminished. Doesn't mean he CAN"T rebound.

But it also DOESN"T mean he will.

It really is a wait and see.

There might be enough there to overcome, but will he put in the work... the extra work to make it happen.

I hope so, but I will stay 50/50 and just see what happens.

Ben will be fine. Please, relax, calm down guys. He had by his own admission the worst game of his career.
I still think Ben’s skills are there and the talent level of this football team is among the best in the league that will take us far in the playoffs.
Sure, lots of distractions so far which certainly haven’t helped things, and one would expect the head coach could to control his team but that’s another topic.

Objectively speaking. Ben is not as bad as he was last game. And I am sure that he will rebound throughout the year.

But we all have to admit he is not the same player we've seen in the past.

No more shrugging off defenders, no more rolling out of the pocket, no more backyard football, inaccurate passes, etc.

It'd also be nice to see Bryant finally step up and start making plays. There's been some moment throughout the year so far where it looked as though had he given just a teeny bit more effort, that he would've come through with a number of catches. The receivers, outside of Brown, have failed Ben as well. It's past Time for these guys to up their games too. Their lack of execution has also lead to Ben leaning so much on Brown. When Brown was covered by Ramsey, there should've been no reason for one of these other guys to make some sort of plays. As it was, Bell was our best second option on Sunday.

I agree to a point. Martavis for me has highly been a disappointment. As if he was on his game, like he was. That would open a lot of the offense up.

It is like he screwed us two years in a row. Unless he starts to catch fire, he will continue handcuffing this O>

Think that guy is smoking some crack. 1st INT sure you can blame the line, but it was our crappy TE vs their best cover corner. Bad read / matchup. I will also say McDonald did not appear to give much effort there. 2nd INT Ben missed the LB and I believe pass was tipped. To blame the 3rd INT on Brown is ridiculous. Most receivers wouldnt have even touched that ball not to mentioned ramsey poked it out from behind. The ball was like 4ft too high. On #4 sure the WR fell down, but what if he didnt watch the replay in slo-mo? At best is was a contested ball between the WR and DB. The DB barely had to move. #5 was more of a desperation chuck so put that one on the whole team. For now I will just call it one of those games for Ben, but the offensive sputters start and stop through Ben. He has to play much better in general.

Funny how nobody was talking bench time and season predictions after Tom Brady's poor 2 "home" game loses.

It's one game. Big Ben will be back.

There's a reason why we own the word..."SUPERBIKE".

Ben can still be good and hard to beat. Other teams never know which Ben will show up on a given week, of course neither do we.
My cousin, who played semi-pro ball for several years back in the 80's, is saying on FB this morning that hey, when you get older your vision gets worse and Ben should get his eyes checked.
