Former Vikings and Cardinals coach Dennis Green died early this morning after suffering cardiac arrest, per friend Ray Anderson. He was 67.


They are who we thought they were! RIP Denny. Always respected him.

I liked the guy. Pretty entertaining with the press too.

Wow, total shocker, liked him as a coach.

A shame Gary Anderson missed that kick. Dropped Green's legacy by a couple of notches, and probably deprived us of what would have been a really good Super Bowl.
 
Condolences to the family. Was a good coach and a good person.

Seriously....Any of you guys - or ladies - who are over 40 and haven't had a heart scan, please do it.

It's quick and painless, and covered by insurance.

If I hadn't done it in time, I really would be a ghost.

Agreed, you've got to be smart about it. If you're a heavyset guy, smoke, or a family history, it's a no-brainer.

I always liked him. I think he was better than given credit for.

 
Young. Got the chills when I heard the news. He was a decent coach

I still say that vikings team wouldve beaten the broncos in the Superbowl. We sucked that season, so I was really pulling hard for the Vikes to finally get that 1st ring. ******' Anderson
