FordFairLane 2020 Big Board

great job, I'll be deeping to it later on but just glanced something that I might be mistaken but I think you mixed up Gs and Cs in 5th round +.

other than Josh Jones being the best OL in the draft, you did a pretty good job

Yep, that is where I stopped and restarted it. Thanks for the catch it should be updated now.

That is pretty kewl Ford, even a bone head like me can understand it. Thanks for all your work in this.

Overall I like it. A little high for Claypool in a deep group. 2 is the highest I go for him but still think he is a 3 in this draft. Maybe a little high for Perine too. I see him as a 4th/5th round type. Not that I don't have some like for him, I like his effort level. Again in my opinion, but overall I think a solid job.

I am a bit higher on Claypool, Perine, Dillon, Ruiz and Kenny Robinson than most from what I have seen of other draftniks Here's why I like Claypool and Perine. Claypool reminds me of a mix of DK Metcalf and Plaxico Burress. He is big powerful and will our physical any DB that tries to press him. He has some great top end speed and will require a safety over top to keep him contained. A red zone matchup nightmare for defensive coordinators. An animal in the run game and takes his guy out of the equations. Hands are above average but has had a few concentration drops. Isn't quick twitch and requires space to build of speed.
Perine is a hard nosed powerful runner who has ridiculous balance with a low center of gravity. His hands are outstanding and IMO are the best in this draft class and in pass pro he again is the best back in this draft IMO. He isn't going to be mistaken for Barry Sanders but he has enough wiggle to avoid direct tackles and his strength has him run through arm tackles. Above average vision and sees the hole develop and follows his blocks well. Not great long speed and won't bust a lot of 50+ TD runs.

Claypool is very much a one year wonder though. Plus this is a deep class. I don't hate Claypool for me he just comes with some questions.

Definitely a deep WR class. Would not shock me to see 8-10 guys go in the first 3 rounds.

Ford, who do you think will be our pick in the 2nd ? Just curious

This is definitely a tough year from picking so late to not having pros days and only a few “virtual” meetings slipping out to the media. I think they’ve put themselves in a good position to go BPA. My pick if he’s still available would be Justin Madubuike. We need a point man that can rush a little bit and he’d my guy. Steelers I feel will go AJ Terrell.

If Madubuike dropped to 49, it would be a good grab. No question that an OL, RB or WR, would be nice at this pick but if this guy's hanging around
I'd be disappointed if we passed.

thanks for sharing man...

I have the 2 interior O-Linemen from Michigan with higher grades...Im thinking 3-4 rounds for them..
In fact..I would love for us to get Cusenberry and at least one or not both of them ..

falling to 2. 49 ????

I don't see that far of a fall, definitely not the second round. But you would think he is sweating it right now..............

Neither do I.......... he now becomes a Dallas Cowboys prospect at 17 ..... they always seem to be attracted to some talent with an issue

Ruiz isn't on your board, Ford?

You're right as I don't see him there either. I bet he got lost in the shuffle when FORD had to redo the OT & OGs so this is actually a second spreadsheet we are looking at.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure I saw him on the first one, maybe?
